What these idiots don’t get is that having a white Priest say this does not make it better from the point of view of the Obama campaign.

Our tax dollars in effect support this “Church” as they are given exemption. Too bad the Republicans would never do anything to stop the politicalization of Churches such as this.

I just watched it for the first time. I thought it was pretty funny. Perhaps there is a need for some people to lighten up. I am not sure what your supposed to be upset about. Other than for the specific political overtones, is it just not another homily? Somebody’s opinion? It will get very ugly if attacks are going to be directed on every Minister and priest who speaks about social responsibility or Israel or prophesy. At some point faith communities will backlash. It gets on shaky ground where a priest is attacked for advocating social justice. It is not a good time to risk fighting the hierarchy of the Catholic Church.
This is even more shocking than Rev. Wright. Is this some of the opposition research that makes even Bill Clinton say Obama is unelectable?

Are you crazy? This guy is cursing from pulpit and calling Hillary a stone racist with nothing to back it up. He is screaming and yelling this hate at the top of his lungs. He says nothing about “social justice” which is always a code word for socialism anyway. If you think this has anything to do with Christianity or Catholicism you really need to try reading the Bible.

Ah, Father Flakey. One of the biggest assholes of any generation. He spouts this same sort of crap to stir up his Chicagoland parish. No wonder he is so viscerally anti-gun: His tirades encourage violence, and he wants to shift the blame elsewhere.
