We are gathered together today to pray for the President You have given us. Spirit of God, lead him in the path that would follow Jesus so that he can avoid darkness and walk in the light of life. Help him to live by faith in You, completely adhering to Your ways of doing and being right, relying on You and putting his complete trust in You. We acknowledge that this is right and possible because You loved him and gave Yourself up for him.
We pray for the divine guidance and protection for our troops. Shield them from destruction and cause them to be victorious in their battle against evil.
Jesus, we are so grateful for all of the ministers of the Gospel You have given us in this country and for our freedom to worship You openly in the light of day. We have confidence in the Word of God that is being preached to do a miraculous work in the lives of our citizenry. Draw lost souls to Yourself out of the control and dominion of darkness into the kingdom of Heaven through faith in Your Love.

We Praise You, Father, for this humble man, who has never returned an insult ... neither has he belittled nor defamed. Open the eyes and the ears and the hearts of our countrymen, that we might see the bounty of Your Blessing in the service of this President. Let not the darkened hearts of carnal men write the history of this time ... let the generations know that a man of Faith stood at the helm of our Ship of State and spoke the Name of Jesus. Grant that he and his family might return to their beloved Texas, strong and healthy and able to enjoy faith, family, and friends for many years to come.
You have been most merciful to us, O God our Father ... our hearts are bowed before You in Worship and Praise and Thanksgiving. Blessed be Your Name, both now and forevermore, Amen ...
