That was exactly what I was thinking. This is a done deal. You can bet she was promised something, big time.
I wasn’t referring to Rush. I was referring to the poster critical of Rush
Slick WIlly never revealed his either.
I wold imagine that she might have picked up a few nasty parasites from the Slickster.
You need to check your thinking. You are saying that McCain supporters are the reason she’s done so well, and not from Operation Chaos?
Get real.
Wow... I've never heard hillary clinton referred to as “beautiful.” Are we talking about the same woman? :-?
heheheeee!
Da fat lady’s FINALLY sangin’, is she ?!?!?!!!!
Yay! About time!
Good work on that graphic, PL !
Get real.
I said no such thing, that was from the Jed Report, their breakdown of exit polls, voters saying they voted for Hillary in primary but will vote for McCain in the general. If you read it, it talks about the success of OC, which I am a fan of btw.
I just gotta tell you, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Thanks so much Meek! Hope you saw the ‘fireworks’!!
Is chelsea doin' her dad's lip-bite?
But neither he nor any other politician is going to push amnesty through. It is all theater. We will have an ongoing stalemate, and each state will pass its own laws to take care of the invasion.
The entire GOP, himself included, will be for drilling as soon as gas hits $5.00 a gallon (maybe 30 days from now). "National security, circumstances have changed, blah blah, whatever." That is what you will hear (thankfully, at last) from the GOP at all levels.
UNLESS, of course, the Rats beat them to it.
He will not hold the cap and trade belief for long because it will be too costly.
All he is doing is cultivating an image of a centrist, so that he can be elected.
You and the others who bash him, if you keep it up, you'll give us Obama, just as Perotistas gave us Clinton for two terms.
I hope that does not happen again, but, if you keep bashing McCain, it will.
The margins in this election may be razor thin.
Every time you bash McCain you give a moron a reason to pull the lever for Obama.
Why do you believe that we constituents have ever had, or will ever have, the luxury of trusting a Republican politician?
Can you not see that this is a pure power struggle between us, the constitutional republicans, and the Marxists in the populace and press who may even outnumber us?
I mean, sure, once a century you will get someone who is pretty close to trustworthy. Someone like a Gipper, or a Cal Coolidge. But you are opting out of the political process, if not reality itself, if you expect politicians to have really elevated principles any more.
I think it is great that you and most FReepers have sublime principles and such a strong love of country.
I share these things with you, I believe.
But this election is not about purity, or reform of the GOP, or virtue, or restoring the Shining City on the Hill of Gov. Winthrop.
The current election, and all those for the foreseeable future, I am afraid, is about the MERE SURVIVAL of the US as a constitutional republic.
It is about keeping RANK COMMUNISTS like Obama out of power.
It is about keeping the US alive even though half of its people are hell-bent on relinquishing it to its enemies, "foreign and domestic."
Bashing McCain is not helpful in the next five months, when our nation is absolutely vulnerable.
Regards and sincere best wishes.

Not a pretty picture to paint, however your statement may not be far from a realistic one.
“The dems always seem to be enthralled with the pompous for some reason.”
Like attracts like.
I guess so.
Welcome to Free Republic btw.
“The current election, and all those for the foreseeable future, I am afraid, is about the MERE SURVIVAL of the US as a constitutional republic.”
I have followed this entire thread, even posted a couple of times on it, but I have thus far not seen the issue about this election put more effectively or succinctly.
An Obama presidency with the current Congress is
a frightening and sobering thought. These people
are about their own agenda: consolidating and
increasing state power at the expense of everything
that made this nation great. I have a distaste for
McCain myself but that will not keep me from
supporting him.
He is what he is.
However, many of his supporters try to make of him what he isn't. And, in my estimation, this is actually defeating your purpose.
You must be joking. I have a home in Scottsdale. AZ has enacted some of the most restrictive laws against illegals. In 2006, AZ passed English as the official language of the state by 75% to 25%. McCain was the only top tier candidate of either party who didn't win his home state in the primary by more than 50%. He won with 48%. There have been several recent recall initiatives against McCain.
McCain is serious about amnesty, which is why he is known among those of us who are immigration activists as the "Amnesty King."
But neither he nor any other politician is going to push amnesty through. It is all theater. We will have an ongoing stalemate, and each state will pass its own laws to take care of the invasion.
You are talking thru your hat. As someone who has been lobbying on the Hill for the last several years against amnesty, the chances are more likely that it will pass than not. In 2006, amnesty passed the Rep controlled Senate [S 2611]. Thanks to Jim Sensenbrenner, the bill never got to the House for a vote.
There are tremendous forces pressing for an amnesty, i.e., legalization of status. The Dems want it because it will make them the permanent majority party. The Union bosses want it because it will swell their rolls. The Catholic Church wants it to gain new members. The Chamber of Commerce wants it to keep the flow of cheap, exploitable slave labor going.
In case you haven't been paying attention, the Dems have been trying to get amnesty piecemeal. The Dream Act, more guest workers attached to the Ag bill, the Baca amendment, etc. are occurring. McCain or Obama will sign an amnesty bill. It will get thru the Senate. The real battle will be fought in the House. It will be easier to fight if Obama is in the WH. McCain will pressure the RINOs to vote for it. And a McCain win will demonstrate to the RINOs that there is no political price to be paid if you support amnesty.
entire GOP, himself included, will be for drilling as soon as gas hits $5.00 a gallon (maybe 30 days from now). "National security, circumstances have changed, blah blah, whatever." That is what you will hear (thankfully, at last) from the GOP at all levels. UNLESS, of course, the Rats beat them to it.
McCain has voted against drilling in ANWAR and is against drilling off the coast. His big thing is nuclear power. He considers himself to be an environmentalist. He has not changed his position on drilling in ANWAR or offshore. That's a fact. Go to his website.
You and the others who bash him, if you keep it up, you'll give us Obama, just as Perotistas gave us Clinton for two terms.
I voted against him in the primaries and I won't be voting for him in the general election. RAMM
Every time you bash McCain you give a moron a reason to pull the lever for Obama.
Everytime McCain opens his mouth espousing Dem positions on issues like amnesty and global warming, he turns off more of the Rep base. You cannot nominate the party's maverick as the standard bearer and not expect the consequences. McCain will be a disaster for the party and for those Reps running down ballot.
