Dear Rush, I’m sorry your scheme failed.
I am with you on your sentiments.
I believe a lot of conservatives are being priggish about McCain because they don't realize that they are playing the end game.
If they did they would embrace McCain as if he were the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, and who-knows-what all rolled into one.
Regards, caddie.
We are reaching the end game here, my friend, and I am not going to be picky.
This sort of pecksniffishness is what got us in this jam with the Rats calling the shots.
McCain or Bust 2008. Pray he wins or you will be owning up to the fact that he did not.
Please don't be angry with me, I appreciate fully your feelings about Sen. McCain.
I lose heart because I feel this might be the end game.
But I know McCain is a cagey bastard. He is SO SMART that he may have some thread of conservatism in him, but he knows that to reveal it is suicide, given the wimply nature of American manhood and the clueless nature of most conservatives/Republicans.
McCain is being a pragmatist, and is being 'liberal' about issues that really don't matter: immigration (hey...they are hard working Christians... it isn't like they are MooseLimbs or anything); Global warming (he will build reactors and trains and clean coal plants...what's not to like with that?)
You say perhaps, that McCain has sold his soul to the left on various issues....e.g., global warming, immigration, drilling, etc.
I say that any man who was abandoned by his country in North Vietnam for five and a half years being tortured has no such allegiences. He could not give a sh*t about any particular political party or any constituency... he thinks only of the SURVIVAL of the United States, which I believe he considers his 'mission'.
Right man for the right job. If you disagree, fine, but I think you would be sorely mistaken.
Regards and please don't be offended by my opinion or rant. caddie.
I followed the McCain campaign for four days each in SC and FL driving almost 2000 miles. I have heard his stump speech dozens of times. I know him better than you think.
McCain is being a pragmatist, and is being 'liberal' about issues that really don't matter: immigration (hey...they are hard working Christians... it isn't like they are MooseLimbs or anything);
If amnesty passes, this country is finished with a stroke of a pen. It not only legalizes the status of the 12 to 20 million illegals already here, it allows them to sponsor 66 million to over 100 million more LEGAL immigrants thru chain migration, i.e., family reunification. Immigration is the most important issue facing this country. It affects or drives every major challenge this country faces. The fact that you don't understand it speaks volumes about you.
Global warming (he will build reactors and trains and clean coal plants...what's not to like with that?)
His cap and trade legislation [McCain-Lieberman now Lieberman-Warner] will destroy our economy and take away many of our personal liberties.
he thinks only of the SURVIVAL of the United States, which I believe he considers his 'mission'.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Amnesty will destroy this country and cap and trade will wreck our economy.
Right man for the right job. If you disagree, fine, but I think you would be sorely mistaken. Regards and please don't be offended by my opinion or rant. caddie.
McCain and Obama are very dangerous people who threaten the future of this country. I am not offended, just amazed about how ill-informed you are about these issues.
Excellent!
Amen.
Hillary Hags!
Save this "pecksniffishness" stuff.
This was the best!
OK...I'll have to go reread it. I did read it over a few times to see if that's what you were saying, but it just didn't seem like you were talking about the poster. Thanks for the clarification.
I would much rather wake up the morning after Hillary’s acceptance speech than face the Obamanation of desolation. I predict that if Obama gets in he will be assasinated within two years
The Clinton's had to be stopped as a political force once and for all.
She spent 8 years building up a reputation as a 'centrist' just to get elected.
Now, we can easily handle Obama who is clearly a Leftist and will be exposed as such and defeated in Nov.
