Here's an odd Obama controversy I hadn't yet heard about. Apparently, the Lamb of Chicago has not released his Hawaii birth certificate despite several media requests. Jim Geraghty thinks it would end several persistent rumors concerning his birth.
Although Geraghty makes some good points, Exurban League's research interns have uncovered several reasons Obama is keeping it under wraps.

10. Despite the claims of his supporters, it was not technically a virgin birth.
9. Full name is Ayatollah Mubarack Hussein Obama-Khomeni bin Laden.

While passenger manifests are written documents, extreme doubt obtains that they would be archived for decades, so any such manifests likely do not exist today...

That puts all this silliness to rest. If his mother was a natural born citizen, then so is Obama, regardless of father or location of his birth.
Te first step would be to find out who flew the route out of Kenya, my guess is KLM, which would retain records.

KLM? That's the Dutch national airline... One would think that the most logical airline flying from Nairobi in 1961 would have been BOAC (British Overseas Airline Corporation), which is no longer in existence...

I doubt it. The law appears aimed at children born to naturalized citizens, not children born to natural born citizens.
This is as asinine and incorrect as those who claim that McCain isn't eligible because he was born in Panama.
It would be asinine to put a Non American citizen and a Muslim into the highest office in the land during a time of war because we didn’t ensure his credentials.
He is hiding something that he doesn’t want the American people to see, something that would derail his election if exposed.
I for one reject the claim that Obama is Christian based upon which church he has been going to. If anything he is a member of the Black liberation theology that has no room in it’s dogma for Jesus Christ or God because they call for all of us to live together. In short it is Nation of Islam lite.
His mother is a natural born U.S. citizen. That's the only credential he needs, along with being 35 years of age or more.
It's pointless to spend energy chasing this -- unless you can prove his mother wasn't a natural born citizen, you've got no case. There are much better uses of one's time.

It doesn’t matter *after* . In essence, she was not old enough to qualify her son for automatic U.S. Citizenship. At most, there were only 2 years elapsed since his mother turned 16 at the time of Barack Obama’s birth when she was 18 in Hawai’i. His mother would have needed to have been 16+5= 21 years old, at the time of Barack Obama’s birth for him to have been a natural-born citizen.
the present law does not retroactively make him a citizen, however what if the Hawaii Birth Certificate says he was born in Kenya? or his father's name is not listed on the birth certificate?
rather then ignore the possibility I want to know the facts and I want the American people to know who they may elect as president.
It makes no sense for such a law to ever have been written, so why waste the energy "tracking the story down" when there is no story in the first place?

No, it isn't an issue. I've been "freeping" long enough to not let myself get excited over some random blog post. Especially when the theory being bandied about does not pass the "smell test", which this one fails miserably.
