Media Is One Fraud Bigger Than Obama
The Bulletin ^ | June 12, 2008 | Herb Denenberg

Because the mainstream media is acting as the cheerleader and campaign manager of Mr. Obama, the public has not been getting the truth - or getting it but too little and too late. ... There's one fraud bigger than Mr. Obama: the mainstream media that are busy selling him instead of reporting on him.

Both Mr. Obama and his party are not right for America at this time. A piece circulating on the Internet cataloged exactly what Mr. Obama and his party stand for and where that would take us. Here is that catalog with some additions and minor editing of my own:

Today's Democratic Party is opposed to military victory in Iraq.

Today's Democratic Party is weak on defense, as it has historically been.

Today's Democratic Party is opposed to domestic oil exploration.

Today's Democratic Party thinks it can produce more gas and oil by taxing the excess profits of the oil companies, a ploy that has been tried in the past and failed to produce more energy but instead produced less energy.

Today's Democratic Party is opposed to clean coal.

Today's Democratic Party is opposed to more nuclear power.

Today's Democratic Party is opposed to lower taxes.

Today's Democratic Party is opposed to national missile defense.

Today's Democratic Party is opposed to the Second Amendment.

Today's Democratic Party is opposed to school vouchers.

Today's Democratic Party is opposed to the Electoral College.

Today's Democratic Party is opposed to NAFTA and a free trade agreement with Colombia.

Today's Democratic Party is generally anti-American.

Today's Democratic Party wants to restrict your freedom by bigger government, more bureaucracy, high taxes and more economic regulation.

This is just for starters, they didn't even get to Obama's socialized universal healthcare with its rationing... or his "negotiations" with terrorist leaders, and so on.

I think we can make a more pointed, stronger list -- go for it!

The MSM will never do it.

AMEN - good article! And maybe instead of concentrating on all our disappointments on McCain and our differences with him, we should never forget all that’s listed above - even J.S. McCain does indeed have MANY of these differences with Obama and his extreme left Dem. stances.

I received this article in an email, this is exactly what I have wondered about Obama since he came on the scene. I liked this email, you may agree with me.————

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old Texas rancher, whose hand was
caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with
the old man. Eventually the topic got around to

Obama and his bid to be our President.

The old rancher said, ‘Well, ya know, Obama is a post turtle’. Not being
familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a ‘post turtle’ was. T

The old rancher said, ‘When you’re driving down a country road and you come

across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a ‘post turtle’.

The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor’s face, so he continued to
explain. ‘You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up
there, he doesn’t know what to do while he is up there,

and you just wonder what kind of a dumb ass put him up there.’

A perfect analogy…I couldn’t agree more. Thanks for the laugh.

Today’s Democrat Party is for executing innocent babies but not for executing guilty murderers.

The DBM should be sued for FRAUD! If this guy (Hussien Mugabe Castro Chavez Osama Obama) gets in, he’ll try (and if congress goes Dem, helps) to force the UnFairDoctrine (or as I call it the Shut Conservatives Up Bill) not only to talk radio, but to the Internet (FR).

God forbid.

Actually, I’ve wondered whether we could sue the MSM for collusion, failure to report fairly, etc etc etc. Know any attorneys who’d like to get a class action suit together?

Google “Paul Kengor and American Thinker” for his latest article on Obama and the press conference held by USASurvival (www.usasurvival.org).

I think you’ll learn a few things about the Wash. Post.

John McCain’s Sons

Talk about putting your most valuable where your mouth is! Apparently this
was not ‘newsworthy’ enough for the media to comment about. Can either of
the other presidential candidates truthfully come close to this? .... Just a
question for each of us to seek an answer and not a statement.

You see...character is what’s shown when the public is not looking. There
were no cameras or press invited to what you are about to read about, and
the story comes from one person in New Hampshire.

One evening last July, Senator John McCain of Arizona arrived at the New
Hampshire home of Erin Flanagan for sandwiches, chocolate-chip cookies and a
heartfelt talk about Iraq. They had met at a presidential debate, when she
asked the candidates what they would do to bring American soldiers home - -
soldiers like her brother, who had been killed in action a few months
earlier.

Mr. McCain did not bring cameras or press. Instead, he brought his youngest
son, James McCain, 19, then a private first class in the Marine Corps about
to leave for Iraq. Father and son sat down to hear more about Ms. Flanagan’s
brother Michael Cleary, a 24-year-old Army First Lieutenant killed by an
ambush ... a roadside bomb.

No one mentioned the obvious: In just days, Jimmy McCain could face similar
perils. ‘I can’t imagine what it must have been like for them as they were
coming to meet with a family that ......’ Ms. Flanagan recalled, choking up.
‘We lost a dear one,’ she finished.

Mr. McCain, now the Republican nominee, has staked his candidacy
on the promise that American troops can bring stability to Iraq. What he
almost never says is that one of them is his own son, who spent seven months
patrolling Anbar Province and learned of his father’s New Hampshire victory
in January while he was digging a stuck military vehicle out of the mud.

Two of Jimmy’s three older brothers went into the military. Doug McCain, 48,
was a Navy pilot. Jack McCain, 21, is to graduate from the Naval Academy
next year, raising the chances that his father, if elected, could become the
first president since Dwight D. Eisenhower with a son at war.

I chose to share this with those who I believe will pass it on, to others
who will pass it on. We hear so much inflated trash out there. How about a
simple act of kindness ... and dedication to others placed above oneself?

Has anybody heard if Barack Hussein Obama has served in The American Armed
Services?

This is for all you Barack voters.

From Barack’s book, Audacity of Hope: These are his words for everyone to
read........

‘I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly
direction.’

HE DID NOT SAY STAND WITH AMERICANS!!!!!

I agree with you IrishMike, but that last quote is out of context. It’s a part of your argument that can easily be refuted and diminishes your other extemely valid points.
