Victory is what we are going to sew.

Sow or sew?

We can pretty much guarantee the reason isn’t because he wants to save the taxpayer money.

The issue with McCain is on the subject of public money for a PRIMARY campaign.

Of course the question I have to ask is why we the taxpayers are footing the bill for an internal party function -- choosing who they want to run. There should be no public funding for that, and I go so far as to say the parties should either hold their own primaries with their own people and equipment, or be made to reimburse all of the states and counties in the country for any expenses related to primaries.

I thought public funding was supposed to diminish the influence of private contributors.

"That, in itself is not the reason he'll cruise to victory... nor is it the incredible discrepancy in funds, nor the MSM favoritism... It's the inability, or reticence, to fight back against these scurrilous charges... That's been Bush's downfall, and he's taken the GOP and conservatives along for a ride to rock bottom..."

Don't assume that the GOP represents conservative values. They don't. They do what big money tells them and big money wants a liberal president. I first noticed this when Reagan didn't go on the offensive after Ollie North testified before Congress and wiped the floor with those hypocrites. Perfect chance to wipe out the lying Demos and Reagan did nothing. It took a bullet, but he got the message.

Same w/ GHWB. Worst campaign in history and it still took Ross Perot getting back in the last month to throw the election to Clintoon with a minority of the popular vote. Then GHWB's campaign manager marries Clintoon's campaign manager.

Don't try to tell me that U.S. elections aren't fixed.

Soros has to be the darkest, most insidious influence in American politics. He is one of the “special interests” the Left loves, because they love his money.

the most unqualified, phony, glass-jawed, clueless, clumsy, lying, empty suit, planless, pandering, no specifics whatsoever on anything, reactive

When did that ever stop people from voting for someone? If it has cool packaging, they don't care if someone shows them there's a turd inside the box. Remember Hannity always asking people why they were Hillary supporters? Most couldn't answer the question rationally.

Excellent post, moose! NYC, I understand your frustration with the GOP not fighting back...heck, never fighting at all. It will be up to us to educate the masses on this phony, creepy Barry Hussein, who has decided that he, the messiah we have been waiting for, should be our president. We can do this by sending out any information, vids, links, articles, etc. to everyone we know. Write letters, make calls, talk to people—I know, it's hard here in NYC to remain positive (have you seen the flood of Obama shirts on Canal St.?) It is imperative that we do so as this guy will ruin America and get us all killed.

ditto, and it seems so obvious to me - to us. It’s amazing that we live in a society where people seem to admire slick talkers. And it’s creepy to think that his ‘followers’ admire him so much that they are willing to agree with anything he says. I don’t know what it’s going to take to wake them up.

Too bad I don’t live out on a street people drive by. I’d put up an “Obama Lies” sign or something like that (”Obama: Change for the Worse”). But then I chose this place because my kids wouldn’t be playing where there’s a street with traffic, so I’m not really complaining.

Obama is showing a pattern. He CLAIMS often and forcefully that it’s time for a new tone, HOPE and CHANGE.

It’s sow.

Sew is sewing, as in clothes.

Sow is planting, and by extension setting anything up for a later conclusion.

I recently sent some info to a friend of mine who was not an O supporter 6 months ago. She replied to my letter by saying “don’t believe everything you hear”. I said Oh S- ‘she’s been converted!’

McCain is having a hard time raising money. Public financing is probably his only real option.

Obama is currently leading in the polls. You can spout all the happy talk you want, but the reality is that the GOP has nominated a flawed candidate who will take the rest of the Reps on the down ballot with him.

Yeah, similar experience. I sent a link to a friend detailing the corruption and leftist ties to Obama to a friend. Her reply was, “I’m voting for him anyway.” Stupid is as stupid does.
