Acting on a claim by Mexico’s government that the U.S. government has not done enough to assure the treaty rights of Mexican nationals facing execution for murders in the U.S., the World Court on Wednesday ordered the U.S. — by a 7-5 vote — to stop five imminent executions in Texas.Leaving it up to the U.S. to choose the way to carry out the order, the international tribunal — formally, the International Court of Justice that sits in The Hague, Netherlands — told the U.S. only to “take all measures necessary to ensure” that Texas does not execute five individuals on its death row.
The World Court issued its order to assure that the Mexicans remain alive until the tribunal can resolve a new dispute over the global obligations of the U.S. government — a dispute that has already led to two decisions by the U.S. Supreme Court.

As I've had a few drinks it's easier to state something like, I would like for them to send UN "troops" to enforce their ruling.
I would like the opportunity to defend my Nation. Probably wouldn't get a chance though, State Dept. would have issue permits via lottery and there'd be a qty limit and all.
Prolly would be reduced to poaching, tape flashlight to my 12guage, set out a feed pile (illegal aliens) and sit back and wait
I wonder how many citizens would volunteer to defend our country and be the executioner of these illegals?

Hmm...in retaliation I order the World Court to sign the thing with a quill pen clutched between the cheeks of their collective buttocks. And I got jurisdiction, too.

Screw the world court. These scumbags came to this country and violated our laws, not the world court’s.

I am no Texan, but I personally know about 50 Texans.

I am a fallen away Catholic. I started to look at it again, back when the Pope was here. There are several things about the religion that has bothered me and you have reminded me of yet another. I am thinking more and more that there just isn’t a religion out there for me.

I think the threat of escape or parole and murder again means there IS no other way to protect society except execution.
The conditions stated as a requirement for the death penalty are more common than the Catholic church would admit I think. Of course what do I know? I'm not Catholic.
Bush, of course, has traditionally taken the Mexican side, while the Supreme Court sided with Texas in Medellin.

Actually, the U.S. doesn’t regard International Court for Justice (World Court) decisions as binding, which is a politer way of saying that.
We should parade these murderers out into the light of day, line them up against a wall and shoot them while high definition cameras are rolling, recording every second of the firing squad.
Then we send copies of the videos to the world court judges with a stern warning the same thing awaits anyone who makes any attempt to interfere with our sovereignty.
I know, I know, but I can at least dream our leaders are men once more...
