Pax Americana, I told Dave, is the name of the phenomenon.
For example, I told Dave, it is mainly due to Pax Americana that Europeans finally ended the murderous interstate and inter-nation warfare that until WWII they had been engaged into for millennia, since the beginning of recorded history, for that matter.

In great awe, his eyes about to jerk out of the sockets, he quickly riposted that that wasnt what he had learned in school or what he heard from the media. You should see the lefties up here drool over the prospect of China taking over as the next big superpower, they’re still mourning over the demise of their precious Soviet Union. It’s enough to make you want to puke.
