I was born in Washington State, but only lived there for three months before moving to California. So, I don't consider myself a Washingtonian (or whatever they are called). Obama may have been born on one of the Islands of Hawaii, but that doesn't mean he's Hawaiian.

Barry went to Punahou throuhg high school- it doesn’t get more elitist Hawaiian than that.
Coming down the highway into Honolulu, Pearl Harbor was in his face daily but apparently the history of what happened there was sloughed off or of no consequence to Barry.
From this quote, it sounds like he is confused and equates the Japanese attack on pearl Harbor with the US dropping single (atomic) bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I wonder if he ever even visited the sunken memorial in Pearl Harbor?
