Fox News is reporting that Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens (rep-Bridge To Nowhere) has been indicted, 7 counts, something to do with holding an office. More news to follow.

ABC radio news is reporting on this now. Charges are about ‘mis-statements’...not ‘corruption’ according to the report.
????
Let’s wait to see if the news is true. I don’t think Fox is breaking it. It probably initiated with a wire. Let’s wait for the news conference before crucifying a GOP Senator.
If it were not for all those Internet Tubes we would have not known about Ted’s indictment.
Hooray! We knew this time was coming eventually. Hopefully he takes his fellow disgrace Don Young with him. Clean the GOP out of these crooks. To hell with what the Dems do. Those two rotten apples have been causing the whole barrel to stink for a while now.
Yeah, just heard that. What it sounded like, through my “MSM -> truth” filter is “perjury trap.”
No mention of affiliation either.
It is now historical record. News on the Hour.
Good. Stevens was a blight on the GOP, the way he acted and demanded pork as if it was his birthright!!
The only downside being the national reporting media’s sure-to-come deluge of “Republican corruption” stories....
McCain had better not try this baloney of ‘can’t comment.... innocent until convicted...’ — because he will only portray himself as being part of the good ol boy network...
Stevens has not been an ethical man for a long time...
If he’s guilty, then here’s hoping he gets what he deserves. If he’s not, then here’s hoping his accusers do.
One of the differences between conservatives and liberals is how we treat those among us that abuse their power, commit crimes, obstruct justice, or are simply general degenerates. We run ours out on a rail ... they re-elect theirs.
H
I never liked this guy. I could tell that he was a greedy, corrupt scumbag.
“mis-statements”. Not corruption.
Rush just called it the ‘Martha Stewart’ indictment....LOL
Chuckie Schumer trashes a bank...nothing.
