House Republicans are still there, raising cain- trying to get them to turn the lights back on and continue debating over drilling!!!

I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."

Those Republicans who stayed, and all other Republicans running for the House and Senate need to get fired up about this issue. They can hammer on the Democrats' willingness to allow oil prices to stay where they are, by not even allowing a vote on opening more areas for drilling, and increasing our chances to find good solid sources of crude. They can also point out how the Democrats apparently do not even care about how the price of gasoline is hurting those about whom they claim to care so very much.

As to why, one thing that DNC leaders hope you don't think about is foreign influence. “Big Oil” is actually foreign oil. US oil is small fry any more. When we block offshore drilling, and then other countries drill in the very spots that US oil companies were banned from, that ought to be a major wakeup call. They are stealing our oil.
How is the money funneled? There are countless ways it could be, but one obvious way is for foreign oil barons to invest in our environmental causes. It makes them seem so loving, so kind. I believe that the leaders of our environmental groups are actually sold out to foreign oil.

If we were smart we would be parading a bunch of "victims"(using the rats own technique against them) of high gas prices,people whose lives have been ruined, before every radio, tv station and newspaper that would use it forever until the fire got so hot under Piglosi's stretched out skin that she gave in.
We could also plaster that kind of stuff all over the web.

I wish. Unfortunately, contributions to environmental groups can be confidential. Too bad we don’t have sunshine. But please don’t blame me. I’d love to get the data. But here’s an example: the ‘Food-for-oil’ scandal. Remember Kofi Annon’s son? That’s the power of foreign oil. And hard as heck to connect the dots.
