John McCains campaign is sticking with its argument that Barack Obama is an aloof celebrity, as aides privately acknowledge that previous efforts to label Obama as a flip-flopper have been nowhere near as effective.
The campaigns ad this week comparing Obama to Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, though attracting criticism from Democrats, got heavy play on the Internet and in print and TV media.
The campaign reportedly is spending $140,000 a day to run the ad in battleground states, and aides are echoing its content in daily talking points.
Were running against a celebrity. He is someone who gathered throngs of fans overseas, McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds told FOX News Saturday.

I hope he’s got an optional plan “B”....because he won’t be able to ride this all the way to election day....
In Ohio the issue is experience.
NO-bama doesn’t have any.
Sort of an aside: I’ve seen two photos of Obama in the last couple of days where it looks like his hair is already turning gray. Has anyone else noticed that? If I can find what I’m talking about I’ll post an example.
Obama says that McCain does this because he doesn’t want to talk about real issuses. Yet when McCain offers to debate real issues in a public forum, Obama runs away.
Town Hall Debate=No Teleprompter.......
They even included the cover of Trumpet magazine in that montage. What a hoot!
His next ad should feature Woodstock songs, Jane Fonda, Barbara Streisand and Calypso Louie! Throw in Rodney King while we’re at it!
Barry would be a whole loaf full of toast.
But isnt he the Messiah, the one we heard about from the Germans? Did he not do great feats and miracles? But, nay, he was not present and, when present, voted Present. No bill came forth from his rhetoric. While refuting the fallacies of the surge, he refused comfort to the afflicted. Indeed, he flipped the flop of an energy plan. And so they crucified him and nailed him to the truth of his ways.

This is really sad, but I found this online and don't know if it's a spoof or real. Does that say something in itself?
Chances are its fake. One of his biggest weaknesses is his lack of experience.
It confirms he is a celeb, just like Paris and Britney.
The ad is great- it took some chutzpah to go with it.
I agree that the media is favoring Obama and treating him as a rock star, but I suspect that McCain would have more success keeping the campaign a little more positive — talking about his differences on policy issues and why we’d be better off voting GOP...
McCain has NO policy differences with B’roke. He’s a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT. That’s why this celeb BS is all he has. It’s pathetic.
