Bill Clinton made a plea yesterday for a new emphasis on monogamy as a key element in the battle against Aids.
The former US president, not noted for his ability to keep his own marriage vows, said it was very important to change people's attitudes to sex.
In an interview with the BBC recorded in Africa, Mr Clinton said that increasing support for monogamy was not just a problem for the continent worst hit by Aids but for the world.
"To pretend we can ever get hold of this without dealing with that the idea of unprotected sexual relations with unlimited numbers of partners I think would be naïve," he said.
Experts believe that the nature of Africans' relationships may help explain the continent's high rate of Aids. Research suggests a higher frequency of overlapping sexual partnerships.
Mr Clinton said the main challenge to fighting Aids in Africa was improving health services, not a lack of money.
"You can get the universal treatment the money's there now, if we spend it most effectively. But we don't have the health care systems."
The sheer audacity of that pervert!
Is he admitting he’s got it?
The thing is that Clintoon is in no way a good actor. He is so obvious yet there really are those who will excuse that kind of scum. They can have it. He has made a mockery of the presidency and this country.
One good intern deserves another...
File under “You ain’t gonna believe this ****!”
ROFLMAO
Once again the Clintons discuss what is best for everyone but themselves!
Another "Do as I say, not as I do" Baby Boomer hypocrite.
No. And what bothers me, is this person spent years telling the nation’s children oral sex wasn’t sex. All the while the kids listening in were asking, “Mommy, what’s oral sex?”
He did this from the Oral Office.
We have kids on school campuses today standing around other kids blocking the teacher’s view of them participating in oral sex. As of a couple of years ago that was actually taking place on a limited basis around the southland schools.
It was reported on the local network news.
I wish Bill Clinton could just go somewhere and live out his life away form the public spotlight. He and Carter have been two of the most destructive Presidents/ex-Presidents in this nation’s history.
And somewhere...a sink is crying...
Do you think HIV causes AIDS? AIDS is the biggest public health scam in medical history. Like global warming, AIDS is being used to push a powerful leftist political agenda. For over two decades the Public Health Establishment has used your tax dollars and the full power of the federal government to wage a massive propaganda (and intimidation) campaign designed to (A) dupe the American public into believing that HIV is the cause of AIDS (B) scare the public into thinking "we are all at risk" (C) coverup the extreme toxicity of AIDS chemotherapy drugs (which are not just used on "fast-track" gays and junkies, but also given to pregnant mothers, infants, and children) (D) use this fear to push a leftist social agenda that includes socialized medicine, and the promotion of homosexuality and explicit sex "education" to tender-aged school children (E) use their "public health mandate" to bypass the authority of parents and local school boards who object to their social engineering schemes (F) create a massive federal bureaucracy encouraging the use of addictive drugs, to include prescription heroine (G) use threats and intimidation to silence dissenting scientists and to keep the press from covering the debate (H) and finally, to use AIDS as a model to push similar social agendas with respect to future epidemics. Every single point above can be documented on my profile page. If you would like to be added to the RETHINKING AIDS PING LIST drop me a FReepmail. |
Have a cold one this weekend... :)
Well, what can I say? The irony is so thick a chainsaw couldn’t cut it. LOL.
Yes, it can, through all bodily fluids.
I think there’s a bigger message Clinton is delivering here.
From now on through the Convention he’s going to be in the news.
Right through his speech.
He’s going to overshadow anything Obama has to offer.
Quick, send over the whole corral: Hawaiian Tropic models, Scores Strippers and the Hooter Ladies, and let us see if Mister Yohimbe, practices what he preaches./Just Asking - seoul62.......
I believe it. Hillary’s not through yet. Dick Morris said those two will eat up three of the four days of the Democrat Convention, leaving Obama only one. Slick Willy and Hilly—we haven’t seen the last of them for sure.
Bill is going to make sure Obama loses. Bet on it.
Clinton bringing up staying faithful is meant to take attention away from Obama.
Clinton did the exact same thing to Gore during his Convention. :)
As Al Gore learned in 2000, having one Clinton, let alone two, hover over you as you campaign for the presidency can be a trying experience.
The Gore campaign had hoped to choreograph Bill Clinton out of the picture at its convention, in Los Angeles, giving him the prime-time speaking slot Monday and then staging a symbolic passing of the torch to Gore the next day in Michigan.
But Bill Clinton started to steal the limelight on the prior Thursday, in a lengthy public confessional in which he said that voters should not hold Gore accountable for Clintons personal failings.
The president then arrived in Los Angeles on Friday and was the toast of the town for three days leading up to his convention speech. He dominated the torch moment in Michigan and continued to preoccupy much of the news media for the rest of the campaign.

I swear the man is possessed. Those two have sold their souls to the devil for such a time as this, but they will not win.

New emphasis on monogamy?
Quick, someone tell John Edwards about that one!!
He needs to take lessons from the “new and improved” Bill Clinton.
