ABC Radio news just announced Sen. John Edwards will admit to the affair with Rielle Hunter in an interview with the network, but insists the child is not his.

Yes, the whole issue of the Edwards campaign or PAC paying Rielle (who was apparently without the relevant professional experience or competence) to create web ‘documentaries’ (which were really bad from what I hear, though I never saw them....... was that $114,000 to be viewed as anything other than “mistress money”???? What about the alleged $15K per month she has been receiving more recently.... who paid it and by what channel(s)???

There’s plenty for reporters to investigate here — Eliot Spitzfong is a piker compared to Edwards.

How about a DNA test for the baby he says is not his? Or will he simply pay off Rielle with a few millions to go away? Will she consent to being labelled a slut and to raising a child without a father? [well she is a liberal, so maybe it’s just fine with her so long as she gets a big payout]

Perhaps, but now he isn’t. I am not for letting the guy off the hook, but I would not emphasize this politically, given that he is no longer a candidate and the fact that our candidates has a complicated marital past.
