Democrat received honor about 8 months before alleged love child born
Where was John Edwards around the time his alleged "love child" Frances Quinn Hunter was conceived?
The senator was in New York – receiving his Father of the Year Award.
Edwards accepted his June 27, 2007, honor from the Father's Day/Mother's Day Council exactly eight months before the child was born Feb. 27, 2008, according to a birth certificate obtained by the Charlotte Observer.
Before beginning his Father of the Year acceptance speech, Edwards told an adoring crowd, "I hate to admit it, but I am not the best parent in my family. ..."

People, people, there is no way the child can be Silky Pony’s baby. It is physically impossible.
The Prell-Man is a liberal, so his little soldiers don’t want to march, if he has any little soldiers.
I can’t believe how he qualified everything in admitting the affair.
1. he admits the affair, but says the baby isn’t his.
2. he admits the affair, but says he doesn’t love the girl, implying it’s a meaningless little fling.
3. he admits the affair, but said his wife’s cancer was in remission at the time. So, we should give him high fives because he didn’t leave his sick wife’s bed to go to someone else’s bed? That’s the implication anyway.
It wasn’t for “Husband of the Year”...so where’s the problem?

Regardless of whether the child is Edwards’, the whole affair is sordid particularly with his hypocrisy during the 2004 campaign when he said he was sticking by his wife through her cancer. I hope Ms. Edwards finds a nasty divorce lawyer and cleans out the Breck Girl ...she deserves that and more.

ABC Radio news just announced Sen. John Edwards will admit to the affair with Rielle Hunter in an interview with the network, but insists the child is not his.
Re your # 13, well, that explains it!
He’s a ambulance chaser. He knows all about the plausible deniability. He doesn’t have to legally accept paternity of the child, because his name isn’t on the birth certificate.
It was most likely kept off with the promise of those 15K checks rolling into the mother each month which has bought her silence. Thus keeping the damage down to a minimum.
I really thing Ms. Edwards has too much class to leave. No one knows how long Elizabeth has, so it is best to keep her family together for the sake of the kids so they are close to their father. I hope Mr. Edwards can change and become a great father for the children as he may be all they have in a few years.
