I think it’s better to stand and fight. At least here I’m creating a public nuisance (and occasionally an FR nuisance). I can annoy local politicians, embarrass my friends, frustrate my family and otherwise make it know that some people won’t stand still for the gradual destruction of our civil rights. If I were in a comfortably red state I’d be just another guy.
I picked up my new used Blackhawk convertible today, went to Jackson Arms and wrung it out with 38+p, .357 and 9mm. Ms. Jackie would not have been pleased. If I did that in Florida nobody would mind.
AMEN Brother! Amen!
I foresee a nice Remington 700 in my future. And probably another 1911 as well (carry ready if they ever allow us to).
That totally flew over your head, didn’t it?
Good idea. I can buy it in PA when we go to my husband’s family periodically.
If the answer is "Why yes, we do have a Warrant." you let them in.
If the answer is "No we don't." then your response is to say "Have a nice day, officer. Do come back when you get one."
Never, ever allow a police officer, Sheriff, or any Federal Agent of ANY kind into your home without a Warrant unless you've been the victim of a crime.
Ever.

Actually, no it didn’t...I was just saying what’s going into my collection next ;-)
Exactly. Same thing with if they want to search your car.
“Got a warrant, because now that you’ve pulled me over, I’m later than I should have been. I’ll take my ticket and be on my way.”
You're right, I should have added that part of the sad story. But I didn't because I don't remember enough about the details that came to light in the aftermath of the incident to be sure that I got it right.
I have lived in rural Fannin county for over 11 years after leaving Roswell, and the Atlanta metro area now seems almost like another world whenever I go back down there.
I lived in MD for 20 years and I am so glad I moved out of that state. In PG county the criminals outgun the police. I believe the cops and politicians are on the wrong side of the law there. They support the criminals by disarming the law abiding citizens.
