And this is why my daughter doesn’t get to watch ELMO anymore on that channel. I had to listen to her cry, but I think I made the right decision.
PBS is a disgrace and they wonder why regular Americans will NO longer donate to them.
To be fair PBS puts on a lot of good programs. We just don’t want our tax dollars to support them. If they want to air a show attacking the Bible so be it...just don’t do it on the taxpayers dime. Same goes for Planned Parenthood!
We despise liberals extorting our funds for their evil propaganda. Let then use their own $$ for their corrupt garbage.
Maybe because it is? Sure strikes me that way.
I never watch tv any more except to check on storm warnings if we still have power. I don't know why because I do read some mindless garbage on the web.
I used to really enjoy Masterpiece Theater, but even that, mostly fiction often framed within an historical context. Now if others can still get lost in that, I kind of envy them, but now I'd rather explore other avenues which aren't covered on tv because there would be no public interest.
What really fascinates me among other things is hybridization the old way, not with genetic manipulation. Never going to get anywhere with it and don't have the botanical background, but ordinary people are crossing some popular plants and taking out patents (or registering them, guess it's the same thing) on them, beautiful things. I see God in that, too. Oh and guess what's really big? Daylilies. Consider the lilies of the field. Well that isn't what is driving these people (you don't really know for sure) but I've seen some utterly amazing crosses. Person plants seeds from one cross they collect from a pod and get many totally different blooms just from that one batch.
Just the other day, I'm into roses but they aren't very cooperative with me, they are not mentioned in the bible, only the Rose of Sharon which people still grow in their yards to this day. Also quipped that tomatoes aren't in there either. Why is that? (just to see if the people on that forum got it). No response which was fine. Didn't mean to go off on a tangent here, but I try to relate what I remember from scripture to some of the seemingly mundane things in life and don't attach any particular significance to a lot of it, just something different to think about.
I'll check back tomorrow, time to turn off the computer for the night.
They have a very very few good programs...you can always hear their radical left agenda coming through in almost ALL their programs. I use to like their nature programs now it’s all about the awful humans and global warming scam...it’s continually in these programs...BARF...
I hear ya...I dont watch TV much....sometimes a PBS documentary is interesting and just have to filter through the leftist BS thrown at us. I’d rather be Freeping anyway!
its not!the show is for children, mentally ill and any disorientated person that can be swayed to the anti-religion communist BS to help weaken us more.
They’ve been trying to disprove the Bible since day one. Next they’ll be telling us the universe created itself.
...and entertaining.
The history channel airs this type of stuff ALL day EVERY Sunday!
PBS is as restricted from denouncing the Biblical text of Christians as a city is from permitting a privately funded religious monument to be placed on public grounds.
The ACLU stands for AntiChristian League.
They don’t have a problem with taxpayer funded and publicly hosted antitheism, atheism, or antichristian messages.
They DON'T need donations. They take it out of our paychecks! Same for National Public Radio = Pravda.
btt
Bible is a book of stories, believe it if you want to.
But don’t deny others who don’t believe in it. That’s America, freedom and all that.
You are known by the enemies you keep.....
Your not serious are you??
Defund PBS.
Wouldn't this mean that PBS says Ishmael didn't exist either?
