Six Degrees of Barack Obama ... (DRats Mugged by a Con Artist?)
Chicago Daily Observer ^ | Wednesday, August 13, 2008 | Daniel J. Kelley

Are the Democrats and the American People About to be Mugged by a Con Artist?

Some Democrats are beginning to feel pangs of remorse over the candidacy of Barack Obama as they head to Denver. The presumptive nominee appears to be fully capable of snatching defeat out of the jaws of certain victory. Despite heroic efforts by the mainstream media to resuscitate Obama’s candidacy after he was battered by Clinton in the closing series of primaries, Obama is flat lining in the polls. This is not supposed to be happening. Conventional wisdom held that 2008 was supposed to be a Democratic year. How can this sudden reversal of fortune be explained?

Rank and file, blue collar workers seem to be resistant to Obama’s oratorical charms. Some voters find his angry and scary wife to be the political equivalent of the obnoxious reality television personality Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth.

Watch for the former Michelle Robinson to undergo an extreme makeover in the weeks leading up to the convention. More important, however, are the nagging questions that continue to be asked about Obama’s background and his career experience. Is he qualified to lead this great nation through trying times? Who exactly is this guy and where did he come from?

The Obama campaign is now plagued by his best selling utobiographical books. These exercises in mixing fact, fancy and unadulterated fiction would be problematic if simply available in print to opposition researchers, but, adding to Obama’s woes is the fact that he opted to record audio versions of the same two volumes. Americans can now listen to the presumptive nominee celebrating his enthusiastic drug use, delivering inflammatory rhetoric and reciting a string of racial slurs and profanities in his own voice.

“Michelle Robinson to undergo an extreme makeover”

I suppose one could call this a whitewashing. Ironic that Michelle, who contrary to Barak, may be too black for voters would submit to a makeover of her strong black woman demeanor after calling America and Princeton in particular, on it's prejudice.

I imagine her being wheeled around on a hand-truck wearing a mask like Hopkins was in Silence of the Lambs.

The last two lines of this column should be ENOUGH to scare anybody with rational thoughts in their head(s) from voting for Obama:

If we were able to identify the six persons in closest proximity to the candidate in order to better understand Obama, who would they be? Possibly, William Ayers, Rod Blagojevich, Emil Jones, Tony Rezko, Todd Stroger and Jeremiah Wright.

If you are seeking genuine political change and desired reform, why on earth would you look to the Cook County Democratic Machine to deliver a knight in shining armor?

The culture that has congealed around Obama wants to make voting for McCain a sign of bad taste at best, racism at worst. It is an electoral form of the political correctness that has soured so many people on the campus Left.

The Dems are in a pickle. They are stuck with a guy who just may lose big come November. But right now (and probably through the convention) he is leading in the polls sufficiently to indicate he could win the election. If they substitute Hillary now, they will lose the black vote and the young voters. How do you pull the nomination away from someone who is leading in the polls? Too many Obama supporters would switch to McCain or stay home for even Hillary to beat McCain. So they are between the rock and the hard place.

Bwahahahaha!

...not to mention there’s a video out of him telling the crowd he’ll make abortion the “number one issue” when he’s elected.

This race would be over by now if only we’d been able to nominate a LEADER! Something sad about only being able to take joy in the other camp’s foibles.

Donald Young ....choir director at Obama’s church. Why the black out on the status of the Chicago Police investigation into this December 23, 2007 murder. Larry Sinclair claims he was contacted multiple times by the now deceased Young and yet there is a blackout in the MSM that covers other unsolved kidnapping/murder stories incessantly.

Fauxbama is the nominee for a few key reasons, in any other time in american history he would have been washed out after the first few primaries.

1) (and this is a big one) Anti-Hillary branch of the party. There were so many anti-clinton folks, that they would gravitate toward ANYONE, no matter how inept, as long as they weren’t Hillary. Fauxbama got this vote, by simply being the last non Hillary man standing.

2) Groupthink among the democratic party. The party has so long advocated group think that Fauxbama being black was almost assured to get uniformly the black vote among democrats. Not because he’d done anything, but simply because he was black.

3) A complete failure of public education. Our nation is now full of so many patently ignorant people, something that is unprecidented in the post required education era. That a slick talker done nothing say nothing can shuck and jive folks who in any other time in history would have laughed him out of the arena.

Reality is Fauxbama peaked even before the Democratic primaries were over... he has no chance at the White House. He’s so far over his head, that he could swim straight up, for a year and still wind up drowned.

Here’s the deal folks, Fauxbama is going to lose, and lose handily. Hillary is going to go back to NY.. maybe even take over the embattled governorship, and return in 2012, where the anti-hillary folks will now return to the fold with their tails between their legs from the trouncing defeat they led their party to by backing this schlub. She’ll run virtually unapposed, and lock the D’s behind her quickly having learned from the nonsense of this cycle. And Hillary will be running most likely against whoever is McCain’s VP.

I am not saying don’t fight hard, but I see absolutely no calculous where this radical done nothing gets close to winning the election. I feel he’ll be insanely lucky if he gets 40% of the vote come election day.

The Dems have painted themselves in a corner.. even if FAUXBAMA was polling at 10% they could not replace him at the convention without having riots in the streets as black democrats go insane from “being cheated”. The dems have made their bed... they chose a guy whos resume wouldn’t even fill up a 3x5 index card, and decided to run the schlub for the Presidency... and are going to get their butts handed to them for it.

When Hill went down, I stopped stockpiling a popcorn supply, and stopped saving for some really good adult beverages.

I figured all the fun I had anticipated, the fist fights, the chair throwing was just not going to happen. I figured that it was just going to be an holy crowning of Obambi and the body both in and out would settle down and sing a few bars of “Kumbaya”.

So, are you now telling me that you think there will be fun and games inside the convention?

If so, be still my heart....heh.
