I don’t know, I love David Sedaris.
David Sedaris, by the way, can’t write more than two paragraphs without mentioning his (male) “partner.”
OK. How did you do that?
I can imagine the handwringing and tales of woe from the NYTBS list people.I’m sure they were trying to find a way not to put this book on their list.
Thank goodness it’s ahead of Tory Spelling and Chelsea Handler (the most unfunny woman alive).
Whoa. Twilight zone
I just bought #1 today along with ‘The Case Against Barrack Obama’ by David Freddoso.
Two conservative books in the top 5 (if you count Dick Morris as conservative)—Nancy Pelosi’s tome nowhere in sight.
Amazon.com Sales Rank: #2,717. You'll need a powerful telescope to see her book in the lineup.
And the bulk of her pitiful sales were to libraries
Just Sweeeeetttt
I am ordering a copy today. Thanks for the Thread.
She said, "We don't censor any books, regardless of anyone's personal or political beliefs. We sell books."
I smiled and told her I was happy to hear that. We agreed that the First Amendment is crystal clear on free speech, and that "if you don't like it, don't buy it!"
Kudos to 'Waldenbooks'!!!
I just recently finished reading the book by Dr. Gold and though it's a pretty technical read, it really spells out the evidence that oil continues to be found in amounts to last way past our lifetimes and in places we never thought. Wells that have been thought to be 'pumped dry' are refilling themselves. Russia and Vietnam are drilling deep wells through bedrock (not burried, rotting animals and plants) and not just sedimentary rock and striking oil and gas. There is plenty petroleum if you drill deep enough.
