the school could have had the GSA sex clubs which promote recreational sex among minors.

In today’s climate they can no more tell a boy he can’t wear makeup than they could not tell a girl she can’t wear pants or a black girl she can’t straighten her hair.

When I was in school there was a clear line—girls were NOT allowed to wear slacks and boys never thought of wearing dresses. It all started going downhill when the girls started dressing like boys. Is it any surprise that the current trend is for boys to dress like girls?

Of all the players involved, I’d have to give the biggest benefit of the doubt to the kid who pulled the trigger.

If the straight boy was being stalked, then you have point. For that matter, we don't really know for certain what all that stalking involved. The kid might've been been fearing for his safety for all we know.

Hold on there Hoss. Did they opt out or were they opted out against their will? Sorry, given the locality, it wouldn’t surprise me if he was removed from his parent’s home because they weren’t being supportive of his gayness.

Did you even bother to read the story? The boy was in state custody, not living with his parents. Likely that he was removed because his parents were intolerant homophobes in the eyes of the state.

I am sorry for the family’s loss but, they need to remember that the finger they are pointing at the school leaves 4 others pointing back at them. My suspicion is that the school wouldn’t have HAD to take a stand if the parents had.

All of that is harassment. It is also defamation of character, slander, and blackmail.

It was a provoked attack.””

Bingo and thanks for the great post. The crap-eaters have been emboldened and allowed to get away with this for the last decade. Imagine, being in physical education with these disgusting little creeps in the shower with the other boys.

The parents and brother of 15-year-old Larry King of Oxnard ... King, an eighth-grader at E.O. Green Junior High School ... King was a ward of the court and living at a shelter for ... emotionally troubled children..
15 and in 8th Grade?!?
I think he was a bit more than 'emotionally troubled' (gay). He was stupid to boot.

I graduated from 8th grade when I was 12 (June '62) and 13 when I started H.S. in Sept. (no, no double promotions).

did this school have a sex club in the form of GSA? (’gay’ straight alliance club)

there is no “homosexual” child unless that child has been recruited by the monsters inside the teaching profession.””

You have to remember that many schools now allow perverts to come and market their deviant behavior; or rather sexually harrass the entire population of students on a routine basis.

**** How the F#$% is it the parents fault! Do they not have any say in the matter...the dumbsh!t’s probably encouarged the poor kid to be `himself’!****
Read the article, near the end. He was a 'Ward of the Court' and lived in a shelter. So there's something about the parents that 'ain't' right.

Where did you find this information? I’d love to read it. Please don’t take this as argumentative; I simply would like to know where you got this information.

Because if what you’re saying is true, this puts a whole new light on this as the articles I’ve been finding have been spinning this as a “hate crime”. If this homosexual kid was indeed harassing the other kid, why aren’t we being told this? Never mind, I know the answer to that!

Kid was not with them, he was a ward of the state..

They need to sue the state, too.

And the group home, the school counselor, and any body else who participated in this farce.

Of course, they won't win, but they should sue anyway.

The school allowed it to promote his behavior. I hope they pay dearly for it.

Doubtless, the people spinning this as a “hate crime” know that the kid was hitting on and harassing straight boys. But they don’t feel it is worth mentioning because their underlying assumption is that you have no more to be offended by a homosexual advance than you do to be offended by a heterosexual advance. They are trying to delegitimatize and stigmatize the normal revulsion that a normal person feels when being approached in a sexual way by a member of the same sex.

In the article in #45 it says that Larry claimed his dad was beating him, but the dad denies it.

It also says Larry had reactive attachment disorder which leads to all sorts of odd behavior.

(BTW, why on God’s green Earth would someone name their child Larry King?? Is his sibling named, Omaha Nebraska Hello?)
