I am willing to bet the farm that **many** of these self-excommunicated CINOs are in line for Communion and their parish priest **know** of their political activity and they still give them communion. I bet some of them are politically powerful enough that their bishops know them personally.
“Self-excommunication” with a nod,nod, wink, wink from the bishops who will not formally excommunicate them must be very demoralizing to the others.
