Obama is a Carter Clone

Posted on 08/22/2008 7:20:28 PM PDT by truthfinder9

For those of you who remember the Carter Administration, you remember how horrible it was. Democrats and Republicans agree that it may have been the worst presidency in memory.

So why would we want to re-elect Carter? That’s what an Obama presidency would be.

Check it out:

Carter instituted “windfall profit taxes” on oil companies and prices went up (if you understand basic economics, you know why). Obama wants to create new “windfall profit taxes” on oil companies.

Carter opposed nuclear and oil independence...prices went up...and Obama is also opposed to nuclear and oil independence.

When people complained about oil prices and inflation, Carter said wear a sweater...Obama said check the tires on your car. Neither activity, obviously, is a long term solution (nor does either actually save you much money or oil).

Carter didn’t want to use military might against Iran when it took hostages...Obama wants to sit down and talk with Iran’s mass-murderer, nuke-building leader.

When the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, Carter boycotted the Olympics...Russia invades Georgia and Obama sends them a stern warning and defers to the corrupt, spineless U.N.

Carter thought more government and more taxes were the answer...So does Obama.

Carter let the military fall-apart...Obama doesn't think national defense is important.

Can we afford another Carter?

Despite being a kid at the time, I do remember gas lines, limp-wristed foreign policy, inflation, and Carter’s name often accompanied with curse words when people spoke of him.

I never felt that Carter hated America. I believe Nobama does.

I think Obama makes Carter look like a John D. Rockefeller or one of the robber barrons.

The Democratic Party keeps producing leftist aholes. Now I’ve got to stock up on toilet paper again. Maybe I can get the ones’ with Al Gore’s picture on them.

If Obama gets elected, we are gotting to have to put up with a lot of crap.

Every few decades, Americans need to re-learn the painful lesson that adopting socialist policies and appeasing your enemies leads down the path to ruin. It is such a dangerous world today, I just pray we survive our mistake should Obambi actually win.

It's a shame people hate George W. Bush so much that many of them will vote for an inexperienced Socialist just for the sake of "change".

The above situation does exist, but may I suggest that the one word that truly should be used to describe BOH is
PUPPET....

This is the one word that should be used to describe this nut-cake marxist socialist negro with a muslim upbringing.

Please start using the word “PUPPET” ....

how could we forget?

carter ceremoniously removed the shah and his family from iran.

liberal-socialists were appalled that the shah was a thug.

he was our thug, something the left doesn’t understand.

but they do understand and accept communist thugs.

30 years later we’re still dealing with the fall out.

The Shah’s regime was not going to be around much longer anyway and the radical Islamists were going to take over Iran anyway ... poor Jimmah was such a convenient fool for those times. Our real mistake in the Middle East was to not dig deeper into the politicas of Egypt, etc. and try to protect a visionary man like Sadat. The CIA used to be a useful adjunct to our world position.
