Either incredibly dumb or amazingly intelligent ad.
It is a gentleman’s ad. We’ll see if Obama wishes McCain a happy birthday on the day of his speech in similar manner.

Brilliant ad. While Obama is bashing McCain for 30 minutes tonight, McCain takes the high ground and makes Obama look petty.

I doubt it, because noting McCain’s accomplishments would take up the entirety of Obama’s Big Speech.

Seems like Hillary should have said “well done” too....but I doubt she would have been able to get those words out of her mouth without choking....:)
And that’s exactly what Obama will be doing from the speech excerpts we have. I’m so used to hearing seething hate against “McBush”, and now Obama will do essentially the same thing.

exactly. This is the same McCain who figured out how to sweep California during the primary despite a terrible debate performance, Romney spending millions and Huckabee wasn’t a factor.
I said it then and I’ll say it now. This guy’s got skills.
McCain is in it to win it and has his eye on the Presidency. Obama appeared on the scene out of nowhere and spared us Hillary, but he is more of the aspiring-Ambassador-to-the-UN type if you ask me. Citizen of the World and all that. People are figuring that out.

The McCain campaign, through this gracious ad and the humorous ones that have preceeded it, are dispelling any Obama attempts to paint him as a grumpy old man.
In my opinion, it’s working.
It is amazingly smart ad. It is very classy and appropriate.
