Wrong for this writer to say Obama “expands” lead, when his lead stayed the same overnight in the poll she cites. Also, I’ll bet we will hear crickets chirp when this same poll shows a sharp falloff for Obama tomorrow. As I posted on another thread, and others have noted, Obama had a huge day in Gallup’s Wednesday sample (maybe 54-36), a good day in the Thursday sample (maybe 48-42), and something close to a dead heat (I guess 45-45) in yesterday’s sample. Unless O has another huge day in today’s sample, his three-day average is going to go down tomorrow, perhaps sharply. The poster who called it a “Clinton bump” looks to have it right.

Obama's really going to knock it out of the park when he gives his speech at Invesco Field. As soon as Obama gives that speech, it's all anyone will talk about all weekend. McCain is toast.

Any idea of when he's going to give that big speech?? I've been scanning the media but can't find any references.

One said, "My Boss is a Jewish Carpenter", and the other was an Obama sticker.

Unreal!!! Talk about contradictory.

Obama is the most inexperienced presidential candidate of our time.

McCain’s experience spans decades in the military and decades in the Senate.

How can the dems worry about Palin’s resume? It only points out that their candidate has extremely limited credentials.

BS. McCain was -6 pre-Palin, and is now +2 (Zogby up thread). Bigger bounce than The One got out of his whole convention...

There’s been some delay. They built this huge Greek-style temple and were going to sacrifice a virgin before Obama’s big speech, and they put Bill Clinton in charge of the selection process.

If this is true — that Obambi has an 8-point lead — why are the Dims in panic mode over the Palin pick?

Bingo

She was a gutsy brave pick by McCain and they are terrified that the American voters will love her, especially women voters.

Funny Fox is just reporting the one poll.

I was just wondering that on another thread. What's up with Fox? When you've got polls with such a wide variety of results, why report on just one?

What's up with Fox?

They're purveyors of faux news (Fox News, get it?) just like the others.

Is it me or does it seem that Fox now has at least one toe now in the Obama (aka The Dope) tank? Other than Sean Hannity, they seem to be bending over backwards to prove to the world that they don’t lean to the right, especially when it comes to “The Dope”. CNN and PMSNBC both showed pretty much the entire McCain-Palin rally today from Washington,PA. Switching back and forth, I did not see one second of it on Fox.

I think the pundits on Fox are sure Obama's going to win (God knows why they think that!) and want to be able to say they backed a winner. They may also have that "We're making history" disease that's making the rounds at MSNBC.

Believe that the McCain campaign received 7 million dollars in campaign contributions in 24 hours from Palin being announced.

Notice how none of the MSM outlets are mentioning this. Their numbers mean little. No one will pay attention to these polls. They are just propaganda organs for the most part, which are designed to measure MSM effectiveness in their propaganda efforts. Its a closed loop of intelligence, measuring propaganda, not measuring opinion. That is why the polls have been unable to predict election results in the last 2 federal elections.

The polls measure what was said , not what people did or believed. They are like self servbng advertising surveys of ad effectiveness, they justify the use of TV time and the cost of it.

We ought to aim for 40 years running the White House. Kind of like the Rats in the House, just without the daily ice bucket deliveries.

Obama and supporters will probably have a point since Hillary and her supporters know that the only way they have a chance to get in the White House in 2012 is to have Obama lose. That's why we need Palin this year and then a black VP when she runs in 2012 against Hillary. ;)

Thats not a very good bumper sticker. The liberals would probably think you were supporting Obama and putting down McCain Palin because the letters are smaller.

If they can read it. If not, they just see the toilet bowl and think you are supporting Obama.
