Personally, I would like to see what the internal polls of each party are saying. Both parties have been hitting Ohio pretty hard lately. Hmmm...

If you look at the Gallop poll closely, you’ll see that it is made up of REGISTERED VOTERS as opposed to LIKELY VOTERS. This sampling always favors the Dems because the pollster always has more Dems in the sample. And, since it is a rolling 3-day poll, it doesn’t pull in the reaction of the Friday mid-day announcement by McCain. As the old saying goes...garbage in-garbage out and this poll is just that....garbage. I’ll wait for the Rasmussen poll taken after the Labor Day holiday. The Zogby and Rasmussen polls had Obama flat or with behind up until Hillary’s speech. The bump isn’t Barry’s, it’s a Clinton bump and it will disapear as quickly as it came (no pun intended.) If you want a good indicator of how things are...check out Hillary’s own website. Look at the comments section and prepare to be amazed. I think the comments posted are running 80% in favor of dumping the Dems and voting for McCain. Adding Palin to the ticket was a masterful stroke.

If Obama loses the blacks are going to blame the Hillary supporting women who they'll claim went behind the Democrat's back and voted for McCain and Palin.
Obama and supporters will probably have a point since Hillary and her supporters know that the only way they have a chance to get in the White House in 2012 is to have Obama lose.

Actually a barracuda might be more appropriate than a Jesus fish.

I felt good when I saw the Gallup poll because it was at 8% w/ Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (w/ one day of obama speech and convention, with that said it stands for reason that the next day w/ 2 days of post obama speech and the full convention it would be something like 12% percent but it stayed at 8% meaning if it was going to get to say 12% then the one day of Sarah neutralized the bump completely.

Well, since we're looking at their behavior to figure out their internal polls, just look at how shrill the libs and their media are. You gotta believe their internal polls are scaring the crap out of them.

On the other hand, McCain has been looking very happy and calm, even during the denvercrat convention.

Also, it looks like both campaigns ain't bothering to visit Florida, which tells us that Team McCain has that state locked up.

They ought to be able to dig up a whole slew of Biden making stupid or off the cuff comments, including video of both Biden AND Obama saying that Obama doesn’t have enough experience.

The drive bys are in full attack mode. This is not the veep pick they really wanted.

They are upset mostly because the conservative base has come alive. They were really hoping McCain would further poke the base in the eye in order to make them want to stay home Nov 4th.

I am sure part of their strategy banked on a pro choice pick by McCain. Now the best they can do is sit around hoping for devastation to NOLA. Sad really.

But when you have a stealth Muslim on your ticket like the Dems do, you have to take what you can get.

Joe OBiden must be glugging down the Wild Turkey tonight.

If OB loses, the blacks are going to blame it on the whites in the Dem party for not supporting blacks during crunch time. They will take OB loss very personally

I listened to a call-in program this morning hosted by a liberal, who has a fairly large Black audience. They are indeed taking this very personally. Palin scares the sh&t out of them, they foresee a white woman taking "their" election away from them.

If McCain/Palin win, as I fervently hope they do, nevertheless it will lead to some extremely ugly racial recrimination and acrimony in the aftermath--aided and abetted by the 'Rat psychopaths and their hired whores in the media. Hearing the nasty tone of their voices I wouldn't rule out some street violence in November if Obama gets what he deserves.

Fox is STILL the only one who dares try to expose Obama.
Hannity hits Obama hard every night on Hanity and Colms.
If it was not for Hannity, the general public would know NOTHING about Obama and his Muslim/Marxist/racists associates and backers!

Just a general comment not specifically regarding this article. I live in a liberal h*ll and in 2004 Free Republic.com kept me going. Earlier this year all was doom and gloom on FR and the McCain haters were out in force. I love the turn around on Free Republic this summer and especially now after the Palin nomination. We’re baaaaaack!

I think Zogby has McCain up by 2 after announcing Palin as running mate.

You're right. 47-45. Obammy's bounce was stopped in its tracks. No 15 points for you!

Nice synopsis of Grover Cleveland's experience before he ran for president. He was not only one of our better presidents, but the last totally honorable Democrat to hold that office.

As sheriff of Erie County, he also personally hanged two convicted murderers, the only president in our history who has done that duty.

At the old Wal-Mart today, I saw the contradiction of bumper stickers.

One said, "My Boss is a Jewish Carpenter", and the other was an Obama sticker.

It's a good thing Obama wasn't running the inn when Jesus was born.
