I still wear PT gear to bed (sweat pants and t-shirt, commando, thankyouverymuch) and still wear my unit cap when outside, and I've been out of the service for 2 years.
I have a really nice chef's jacket uniform that I keep starched, just in case they call me back to cook for somebody.
What the hell else are you going to wear if all of your civvies are 200 or 2000 miles away?

And certainly not a Democrat..... a smart, though, beautiful woman who grew up hunting and fishing and loving the great outdoors, great conservative beliefs and principles that she LIVES BY...... can handle a basketball well enough to help her team win a state championship, then going from “hockey mom” raising 4, now 5 kids.... while achieving a meteoric political rise through toughness, integrity, and lots of hard work...... upsetting the political establishment of her own party with tough criticisms and ethics reform efforts..... and now she’s positioned to do a “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington”...... WOW.
Liberals don’t even comprehend why it was not an open question for her to considering aborting her 5th baby — nearly 100% of liberals would have destroyed that child.
Now she is poised to become the next VP of the USA, and has an excellent shot at being the first female president in 4 or 8 years. [liberals will be looking for every possible means to damage her, personally and/or politically, b/c they are terrified of all that she represents]
Democrats and most people in other countries will be trying to grasp this phenomenon. She truly is a phenomenon, yet she comes right out of such solid, trustworthy, all-American normalcy.
Yeah I went over to the DU yesterday and was even more appalled than I normal. They were actually putting her down because she has 5 kids. Saying that it was “selfish” of her to have that many kids. Apparently the DU was concerned about overpopulation.....

I’m gonna be 50 next year, but I can remember how I felt about old folks when I was a brat. And the way I feel these days, most people under 30 qualify as brats.
Obviously, she’s not going to get the vegan or PETA vote.
