Liberal media hate Sarah Palin (who knew?)
Kansas City Voices ^ | August 31, 2008 | Yael T. Abouhalkah

Think the liberal mainstream media don't like the thought of Sarah Palin becoming president? Check out the editorials blasting John McCain's choice as vice president on the GOP ticket:

The New York Times: "Governor Palin’s lack of experience, especially in national security and foreign affairs, raises immediate questions about how prepared she is to potentially succeed to the presidency. That really is the only criterion for judging a candidate for vice president."

The Los Angeles Times: "In Palin, who is just halfway through her first term as governor, McCain has found an ardent opponent of abortion rights who won't provoke the outrage from social conservatives that might have greeted a more experienced, pro-choice candidate such as former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge. But what happened to his insistence that a running mate be qualified to serve as commander in chief? (The McCain campaign was reduced to pointing out that Palin is commander of Alaska's National Guard.)"

The Boston Globe: "In picking a first-term governor with no foreign-policy record, the Republican presidential candidate undermined his own central themes - experience and national security - and exposed the deep fault lines within his campaign."

The Kansas City Star "But as this newspaper noted earlier this week, the most important question in evaluating a vice-presidential pick is whether that person is prepared to step into the Oval Office. Palin, with no national political experience and only a couple years in the Alaska governor’s office, is a very tough sell for the Republicans on that score. McCain’s age — he turned 72 on Friday — doesn’t help."

McCain's pick trumps all previous 'moves' by the Obambi campaign, the drive by media, the limp wrist Matthews etc, and other pandering pundits, Sarah just is head and shoulders above political insiders in Washington and I don't think the Lady is real happy with Political Correctness.

Suffice it to simply say Sarah Palin is a Breath of Fresh Air from the Great State of Alaska where most women are women and men are men, beautiful average and above average children and home to the Last Great Race, The Iditarod.

Oddly, would could interchange Obama’s name with Palin’s and the all these arguements are even worse, but the media ignored it then. Does a women have to have MORE qualifications than a man?

Has Obama been the commander in chief of the Illinois National Guard?  Then I'd say she has more experience in national security than Obama.

Apparently for the Slimes, it is NOT an important criteria for judging a candidate for President, otherwise they would have issued the same denounciation over Obama. The entire MSM is revealing themselves to be rank hypocrites on an even greater scale than we ever thought possible. They are now willing to condemn Palin while endorsing a candidate who has even LESS experience.

Strangely enough Sarah has had more executive experience than Obama, she had been Governor for over two years, while Obama has had 18 months in the U.S.Senate. The rest of his life has been as a neighborhood organizer

No, she simply has to be a Liberal and a Democrat. Then the Liberal Media would have been referring to her as the new Geraldine Ferraro.

I think the old line Repubicrats are afraid of a very smart, talented Conservative, who does not have a Debt
they can call for pork or cover for their misdeeds.

Did the KC Star raise the same questions about Obama? Let's keep the responses simple and on-target.

Our local radio station, WTOP (in D.C.) was calling it the “John and Sarah Show”, while simultaneously telling people that the Dem convention was seen by as many people who saw the Academy Awards. The absolute disdain and disgust for McCain and Palin in the commentator’s voice was absolutely astonishing. Not trying to hide his hatred or bias in the least.

The Dems are about revenge and reparations, not “standing on your feet.” They believe that Republicans/Capitalism is unfair and discriminatory. The only way to solve problems for women, minorities, union members, etc is to have government control everything.

This way, they can punish, punish and punish some more.

So, most Dems don’t want a fiesty woman who succeded. She is the “Uncle Tom” for women.

Wait a minute, wait a minute. Doesn’t Obama’s experience growing up in Hawaii and Indonesia count as foreign policy experience? That’s the line the MSM was touting against Hillary. How come they’re not using it now?

Palin is more prepared than any of the other candidates, even McCain. As and Executive she runs the government. She hires and fires the cabinet who will take care of foreign affairs. I have complete confidence that she has the ability to find a very good Secretary of State should she become the president.

CEO’s hire the CFO’s, they don't need to be well versed in how to do an actuarial table as much as how to find the best person who does. Palin has already done the duty of hiring and firing a cabinet as a mayor and now as a governor. The rest of the candidates haven't.

Personally I think Sarah Palin could step into the Oval office right now and do a better job than any of the Dims, especially Obambi and ROFLMAO, that pathetic loose mouthed fruitcake Biden.

There you have it. If the Slimes hates her, then she has to be the very best! I can’t think of a better endorsement.
