Well not exactly cheered and celebrated, but at least she didn't abort the kid, is living up to the consequences and marrying the father, I'll celebrate that any day.

Okay, with these stories it is apparent that the parents knew before the pick, and thus McCain knew and picked her anyway. I had figured that was unlikely.

So it looks like McCain picked her anyway knowing this would come. I have to say that most politicians would not do that. Heck I wouldn't have done that. I have to give him credit on being politically gutsy in this decision.

I have certainly not been a McCain fan but that is a kind of Reagan decision.
