Wow. When the MSM goes this far out of their way to discredit the family of a political candidate, they must really be worried. Personally, I think all of this is going to backfire on the MSM.

I think they retouched SP’s eyes to make her seem wild-eyed. Just a tad. You know the tabloids to that to almost everyone they do the “honor” of featuring on their covers.

Well that’s unfortunate. The tide has turned where we mainstream americans can’t trust any of our media any more. When People and US turn against the American Dream it’s over. That’s unfortunate.

>> Let’s say you don’t read The New York Times or The Washington Post (or The Note, for that matter).

Let’s say you DO. You’re going to get the same dose of crap from *them*.

No, this is just of a piece with the MSM’s crusade against McCain and now Palin.

Did you note the obvious elitism here? If you’re elite (like me!) we got you covered with the Slimes and the WaPo. And if you’re stupid and shallow (like mere working stiff supermarket shoppers!) then we’ll reach you there, too.

I don’t think PUS Magazine will make much difference. The Democrats *already* have a lock on the stupid and shallow voters that would read it for information. (The few that actually *vote*, anyway.)

The National Enquirer is on it, too:

http://www.nationalenquirer.com/sarah_palin_at_war_with_her_daughter_over_pregnancy_wedding/celebrity/65370

SARAH PALIN AT WAR WITH DAUGHTER OVER PREGNANCY & WEDDING

Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin attempted to quietly have her daughter Bristol get married before news of her pregnancy leaked out, the NATIONAL ENQUIRER is reporting exclusively in its new issue.

Palin planned for the wedding to take place right after the Republican National Convention and then she was going to announce the pregnancy.

But Bristol, 17, refused to go along with the plan and that sparked a mother-daughter showdown over the failed coverup.

The ultra-conservative governor’s announcement about her daughter’s pregnancy came hours after The ENQUIRER informed her representatives and family members of Levi Johnston, the father of Bristol’s child, that we were aware of the pregnancy and were going to break the news.

In a preemptive strike Palin released the news, creating political shockwaves.

The ENQUIRER has also learned that Palin’s family is embroiled in a vicious war that is now exposing her darkest secrets, threatening to destroy her political career.

Palin’s ongoing war with her ex brother-in-law Mike Wooten, a state trooper, has caused multiple sources to come forward with shocking allegations about the governor.

Details of those allegations, the family feud, and Palin’s attempt to cover up her teen daughter’s pregnancy are in the new issue of The ENQUIRER.

It seems like the attacks are becoming more and more visceral by the hour. Even on other boards that I go to that seem more moderate, people seem to be taking an unnatural glee that Mrs. Palin is being trashed so much.

Obama is really afraid of this little soccer mom. he is spending hundreds of millions to smear her in the media. She must threaten his short man syndrome tremendously

This is Rick Klein’s sly way of giving a bigger megaphone to a scandalous article he knows is not fit for print; with his additional snide, lie, told as as a presumption that most “hockey Moms” read and care about the scandal sheet he refers to (as though they are too “stupid” to read anything else.

Now, let’s ask him just one thing: when exactly did HE know about John Edward’s affair??? (and failed to ‘report’ it)

Obviously Sarah Palin is the right pick. The only other times the MSM has gone ballistic like this was when Republicans are in the news.

Liberals are just plain nasty. They don’t care who they destroy so long as they can advance their socialist agenda. It is ugly and getting uglier.

I know women who read this garbage and they’re all brainless, zero IQ liberals, not potential McCain/Palin voters.

“While the more profitable single copies (of Us Weekly) in the past had accounted for more than half of the magazine’s sales, it now accounts for less than half.

“Newsstand sales had accounted for 50 to 55 percent in the past. It’s now 54 percent subscription and 46 percent single copy,” Rose conceded.

Sarah Palin should get a copy of all these rags, and make fun of them during her speech. She needs to literally hold them up for ridicule.

Take heart folks. The campaign knew this was coming when they offered Gov. Palin the job. I think the libs are falling right into the trap that was set for them. The “baby trading” stuff might even be a great big bonus.

What is the trap? Well I really don’t have a clue. But I cannot imagine that a campaign run this well up to this point was unaware of what the disgraceful obots, MSM and tabloids would do with a teen pregnancy.

Have faith that they planned for this and will shove it in their collective faces shortly and pray a lot too.

People are gonna talk about this. In fact, they should talk about on TV, eventually people will get tired of it. Instead, its reduced to a rumor, and I keep hearing everyone asking about it - who’s the father, how old was the father when it happened, are they engaged, etc. People are talking about it online, in the real world; if it has to do with sex, people are going to talk about it ad nauseum. That’s just the way it is.
