King Kwamee has fallen and can’t get up.
Tsk, tsk. And here I thought that the Republicans had a culture of corruption. Good Democrats are never corrupt are they?
What will happen to Detroit? Will Detroit miss Kilpatrick’s inspiring leadership?
Too bad the deal doesn’t include the jail time he so richly deserves.
Wait a minute. Has Mayor Daley been accused or indicted for anything?
Can he run again?
No, but a man can always dream, can't he?
Detroit News has more:
Those racists! How dare they pick on a black guy!
From your lips to God’s ears!
What a crook.
It does Four Months! Let the law suits begin!
Hey, come on now He is Irish (Kilpatrick)
It’s all over but the rioting.

If you would like to be added or dropped from the Michigan ping list, please freepmail me.
Of course, this deal in no way absolves him if he's found complicit in, I don't know...the murder of a stripper or something like that.
It’s okay, it was the front of the bus.
- four months in Jail
- $1 million in restitution.
- not to seek office during five years on probation
- surrender state pension to county
- surrender his law license
...and the rats start leaving the ship...
If McCain is smart he will hammer this connection in ad after ad after ad in Michigan. With an unpopular governor and the connection between Obama enthusiastically endorsing Kwame, the Republicans can show this to be another example of Obama’s poor judgment.
Hey, if the Dems want to continually link McCain with Bush, then the Republicans should link Obama with the many assorted creeps that he supporters.
Maybe in Michigan. I think it’d be better coming from a 527 though. :’)

He (Kilpatrick) also shook hands with Christine Beatty, his former chief of staff and ex-lover. Beattys lawyers got Groner to delay her separate criminal case for a week while she tries to hammer out her own plea deal.
Coming soon to the nieghborhood near you... Obama land - where a little corruption is business as usual - take it from Emmanual Cleaver:
As former Kansas City, MO mayor and current US Congressman for Kansas City, Missouri, the Rev. Emmanuel Cleaver once said: A little corruption is the price you pay for progess. Oh, yes, he is a black Democratic preacher, former Black Panther,....
Maybe in the short term future Detroit may not be associated with a Neanderthal that looks, walks and talks like a “thug”.
I know that’s a tall order, because in the Thomas “Hit-Man” Heans Day...
well, I don’t know...
LOOK. I had NOTHING to do with that statement. That was something put out by the SoulMan Young...
