I think it’s time to dump my Toby Keith and load up on Trace Adkins and Gretchen Wilson.
The RNC should have had sports coaches and players there.
They are usually big supporters of the GOP, and are America’s real celebrities in the eyes of Republicans.
I like Trace. He was very good in the Apprentice show.
Rosario Dawson?? Was there there as a supporter or spectator? I seem to recall in the past she was at Demo and anti Bush events. Maybe she had a change of heart.
Rosario Dawson is a Republican?
...glad to see “Joey Pants” was there...he was great on the Sopranos crew.
darnit the preview looked like this would post right. Sigh.
Agree. How did someone so ‘right’. . .go so wrong?/lol and ‘whatever’. ..
The John Rich/Gretchen Wilson/Cowboy Troy version of the National Anthem was wonderful in my opinion. I had heard a small bit of them rehearsing on Hannity so I wanted to be sure to catch the live peformance, and the only place I could find it was on C-Span. I tried to find clips of it on the internet yesterday but was unable to. If any of you can find it, it’s well worth watching.
Doesn’t John Rich have a partner bubba and Rich or something? Is he a Obama supporter? that’s why you don’t see them together...
Rosario Dawson? I am sure of one thing, she wasnt there to support the Republicans. Unless she had a quick change of heart somewhere along the way.

Rosario Dawson Takes Acting Break To Push Politics
July 24th, 2008 6:00pm EDT Post a comment
Actress Rosario Dawson is taking a career break this fall so she can travel across America convincing the Latin community to vote in November’s presidential election. The Sin City star, who is of Puerto Rican and Cuban descent, was in Washington D.C. on Tuesday speaking on behalf of her non-profit organization Voto Latino.
And she reveals she’ll set acting to one side later this year to make sure everyone who is eligible to vote, does.
Dawson’s road trip will include stops at both the Republican and Democratic conventions.
Who is Rosario Dawson?
A hot piece of ace if you know what I mean...
She was the boos hooker in Sin City and Alexanders wife in the movie Alexander. IMO one of the most beautiful actresses out there. She just isnt a Republican, of that I feel fairly certain.
Ooooh, but I like him when he’s dirty too!
Rosario Dawson a republican ?? , wow!!!
Some hot biracial women.
Add another one to my cuties club: Jackie Broyles, David Beckham and Trace Adkins. I admit it is diverse in looks but they are all definitely cuties./Just Asking - seoul62......
Trace Adkins is awesome. I’ve always liked the guy.
And Gretchen Wilson - what a babe!
Ah, sorry, but who is Rosario Dawson?
If she is, she's going to need support.
Wow sorry i missed her, she is HOT !!! Rosario... though i would be shocked to see her a Rep.. I liked the Nat anthem thing they did, very classy...
Frank
She’s Puerto Rican
oh.
Woah. Like everyone else I didn’t know Rosario was a Pubbie. She was smoking hot in many pics, but I remember how hot she was in Clerks 2. So Naughty in that flick
I couldn't believe that they had Bryan Clay, the two-time Gold medalist decathlete as one of the speakers. What makes it more interesting is that he is half Black and half Japanese who was raised in Hawaii!
To me, he’ll always be ‘Guido, the Killer Pimp” (Risky Business).
LOL! Many people are agreeing with you! I just went to my Library site to reserve some of his (Trace Adkins’) CDs.
I’m #50 and #55 on the waiting list...and that’s in a Cow Town of 6,000.
Well done, Trace! :)
Joe Gibbs spoke yesterday.
I don’t have time to watch any of that prime-time TV stuff, other than politics when it’s important, like this past week.
I think the last sit-com I watched with any regularity was “Cheers.” (And I’m not talkin’ the re-runs!) LOL!
Gretchen Wilson rocks...
“To me, hell always be Guido, the Killer Pimp (Risky Business).”
Good call!
Gretchen Wilson initially supported Fred Thompson. She’s a serious conservative.
Rosario Dawson looks like she could be The Messiah’s sister, eh?
Me, too. He had hair back then . . . not much, but some.
She did an outstanding job on the VH1 Hall of Fame induction singing with Heart.
It was great to watch the champs beat the Redskins last night. They could have used Gibbs yesterday, Zorn seemed clueless on the sidelines.

Big and Rich. The “Big” of the duo supports Obama and is from California I believe.
Most sports are in-season now -- they're kind of focused on their "day job".
I guess Rosario’s Puerto Rican side is Democrat and her Cuban side is Republican.
