71% Of Obama Supporters Say Constitution Should Not Be Upheld

While 82% of voters who support McCain believe the justices should rule on what is in the Constitution, just 29% of Barack Obama’s supporters agree. Just 11% of McCain supporters say judges should rule based on the judge’s sense of fairness, while nearly half (49%) of Obama supporters agree.

I’ll bet many of them couldn’t tell the Constitution from the Declaration of Independence, The Federalist Papers, the Emancipation Proclaimation or the warranty on their new flat-screen TV.Or the Gettysberg Address, like the demented Billyboy who advised us "as the Constitution said, 'of the people by the people and for the people.' "

Exactly. The left any more looks upon government as power to be seized, not rules to be abided by. Look at how the DC government reacted to the Heller ruling. Just ignore it and wait to fight it out in a hopefully more left-friendly Supreme Court.

Exactly right—the next administration could appoint four USSC Justices, which would influence the direction our county takes for the next 20-30 years. Obama has stated that he employs an “empathy” test, which is utter rubbish.
I don’t trust either candidate on judicial appointments, but our best chance is with Maverick.
I’ll never forget the awful Kelo decision and Howard Dean’s denouncement of it as “Bush’s Supreme Court”. Talk about being in the catbird seat. Dean got the leftist’s dream of the destruction of private property rights, and at the same time his friends in the media allow him to place the blame on conservatives.
