I'm voting for John McCain and Sarah Palin this November, and I won't even have to hold my nose.

ME too! Happily, cheerfully voting for McCain.

Can't wait to see who he picks for the Supreme Court...

Hey- I was reading your profile- I grew up in Tacoma, my dad grew up in So. Cal (Army, originally planned to move back but after seeing what So. Cal became, he moved up here instead), and I work in aerospace, too! ; ) I hope McCain/Palin (especially her- since she is a NW girl, and we have so much cross-pollination with Alaskans) campaign here, because I agree it will be much closer than people think. Hopefully that will pull Rossi in, too.

If McCain were trying to morph the Republican Party into Democrat-Lite, I would not vote for him. He could have demonstrated that by picking a Vice President like Joe Lieberman. Nothing wrong with Joe, but he's not a Republican. He thinks life is improved through government programs. Republicans think government usually is the problem, not the solution.

But McCain did not pick Joe Lieberman or anyone like that. He picked Sarah Palin.

And that changed everything.

Sarah Palin is pro-freedom, pro-life, pro-gun, anti-tax, anti-spending.
Bravo! Thanks neverdem.

Meanwhile, the sit-at-home "true patriots" have gotten nothing for their efforts; McCain's choice was based on conservatives willing to vote for him IF they thought they could work with him.

It was based on trying to win back people who weren't going to vote for a liberal in Republican clothing. Were it not for the people who announced that they were going to stay home (but who have--with the pick of Sarah Palin--returned in huge numbers along with those who were going to stay home without announcing it) what would have driven McCain to return to the right?

LOL! I was waiting for this! "Those of us who said we'd NEVER vote for McCain should be given the credit for this pick!" LOL!

When negotiating, sometimes it is necessary to get up and start walking out the door. Sometimes the act of doing that will elicit a response that could not be gotten any other way.

For the technique to work, it's necessary that the person one is negotiating with believe the intention to walk out the door is sincere. Since many conservatives aren't very good at faking such things, the only way to have their actions look sincere is for them to be sincere.

You keep selling, but we ain't buyin'.

Show ONE piece of evidence that the folks who said they wouldn't vote for McCain were the reason he picked Palin.
