With those children, he thought, that wretched woman must lead a life of terror. Another year, two years, and they would be watching her night and day for symptoms of unorthodoxy. Nearly all children nowadays were horrible. What was worst of all was that by means of such organizations as the Spies they were systematically turned into ungovernable little savages, and yet this produced in them no tendency whatever to rebel against the discipline of the Party. On the contrary, they adored the Party and everything connected with it. The songs, the processions, the banners, the hiking, the drilling with dummy rifles, the yelling of slogans, the worship of Big Brother -- it was all a sort of glorious game to them. All their ferocity was turned outwards, against the enemies of the State, against foreigners, traitors, saboteurs, thought-criminals. It was almost normal for people over thirty to be frightened of their own children. And with good reason, for hardly a week passed in which The Times did not carry a paragraph describing how some eavesdropping little sneak -- 'child hero' was the phrase generally used -- had overheard some compromising remark and denounced its parents to the Thought Police. George Orwell, 1984

What I say next will be offensive:
Once children have unlimited access, to plastic bags, then the evil will end.
Pol Pot is my hero.

Fly-tipping is a British term for illegally dumping waste somewhere other than an authorized landfill.

Believe it> Obama has a similar plan for all high school grads to do PUBLIC SERVICE for a free college education. Actually it will be indoctrination in to communism. It can and is happening here.

You should me ‘more scared’ in the US — The anti-gunners have enlisted children and their pediatricians as snitches on who has/uses guns in the household.

“Hitler’s Children”
Give me a break. Comments like that are completely ridiculous. These people aren’t being trained to identify anyone who criticises the ‘glorious leader’ so that they can be bundled away in the middle of the night to be tortured and summararily executed for crimes against the state, they’re being trained to uphold justifiable laws, which are, regardless of any encouragement by the government, the responsibility of every law-abiding citizen IMHO.
If you let your dog crap all over the pavement, or engage in fly tipping, you deserve to get done for it, because you are making your own (or somebody else’s) neighbourhood a more disgusting place to live. I have no sympathy with these people if they are grassed up by other concerned citizens and brought to justice. Maybe a swift kick in the wallet will persuade them that it will be worth the effort to dispose of their waste properly.
Oh and:
“In April, Hull council officials fined a young mother £75 for dropping a piece of sausage roll while trying to feed her four-year-old daughter. Sarah Davies, 20, refused to pay and the matter when to magistrates court where it was dismissed.”
Demonstrates that the claims which ARE OTT or unjustified will be dismissed in a court of law if you are prepared to take the matter to it rather than just sit back and accept the injustice of a caution/small fine, as most people are prepared to do to avoid the hassle....

UK?
Oh, I thought this was Stalin’s UKraine, where the enviro-communists murdered 20 million under the NY Times gleeful encouragement .... While the children reported on their parents.
