What happened in Huntington, Indiana? My son just started Huntington U. this fall, which is a good college for FReepers who don’t want to see their kids indoctrinated with commie talk.
LOL! That’s too bad for them. :)
If they would drop the pretense of being unbiased it would be more acceptable. They should run a little logo in the lower right corner that says “Democrat Bias” during their newscasts.
George Bush and Dan Quayle made their first post-convention appearance in Quayle’s hometown and the locals treated the national media contingent similarly to how they were treated yesterday.
“....You can bet that at some level, the Obama campaign is having conversations with leading media figures....”
you got that right!....Obama’s handlers know they got a real problem on their hands....people are “mad as hell and not gonna take it”....Palin’s treatment crystallized their resentment....that woman is gonna start a Reagan type revolution.
Nicely done! Wish I was there to add to the jeering.
JoMa
That’s EASY...
Alaska is “Out There”, somewhere, and not a big enough market to care about.
Besides, she doesn’t attend DC cocktail parties that journalists go to, so why should they care about her, anyway??
They live in a BUBBLE...
....last election cycle Hollywood hurt the Dems...this time it will be the MSM.
Not only has MSM hurt the Dems this election but the Hollywood loud-mouths that think the American people really look up to their decision making and want to vote like them. NOT!! Take those styrofoam columns back to Hollywood. That was one of my most favorite part of Sarahs speech. I was on my feet yelling and I have a feeling there were more doing the same!!
A six pack of beer says that these people will be painted as small-minded, reactionary (possibly racist) boobs who cling to guns and religion.
That being said, don’t look for the MSM to have an ephifany any time soon. Yes, the MSM is shrinking, but this is due to technology (e.g., the Internet)—technology is independent of ideology. In terms of ideology, their “market” has actually grown as there are more liberals in the country than ever before (either raw numbers or percentage wise). The NY Times may shrink, but it will never die—it will just evolve.
Also, whoever wins the election, the Left is WINNING the argument because more people look to Government to ease their pain, no matter whose responsibility it is.
I feel the exact same way!! I hope these vermin press people begin losing even more money than they already have been.
Sweet memories. Remember mocking the CBS crew at a Bush rally in Oshkosh Wi in 04. The reporterette was livid.
hahahaha
The media bias issue did not start with Sarah. Many people have become increasingly sick of the media as they have watched its one-sided reporting throughout the Bush years, particularly with regard to Iraq and Katrina.
Something more people are thankfully beginning to realize.
Four years ago we realized that Hollywood didn’t give a tinkers damn about their country. We accepted it as a general view, but it wasn’t until 2004 that we became infuriated to the point of getting away from all of it and waking up to their immaturity and delusions of political grandeur and relevance.
Now the press is next. The liberal worms are doing us a new favor every four years now.
Tomorrow’s headlines:
“Right Wing Mob Assaults Journalists”
“Brave Writers feared for their lives”
“A chilling effect on the first amendment?”
The excrement is about to hit the rotating air distributor.
This is great news and long overdue. The frauds in the MSM need to have their bias and dishonesty thrown in their faces at every opportunity. And prominent conservatives need to throw it right in the faces when talking to the MSM, as Newt did at the convention.
All too many in the media are nothing but sleaze and they should be treated like sleaze, in a nice way, of course.
Goodness! What did you do to deserve such torture??
Which Shakespeare play does that come from?
