John McCain’s presidential campaign prepared to chastise Democrats Saturday over leaving behind piles of miniature American flags after Barack Obama’s nomination acceptance speech last Thursday in Denver.
the flags were recovered from Invesco Field after the Democrats concluded their convention there, and they are going to be used as part of the warm-up ceremonies before McCain takes the stage for the rally.
a vendor at Invesco Field found the flags, which were going to be thrown out, and turned them over to the McCain campaign.
Veterans in Colorado Springs are expected to distribute the flags to the audience at the rally.

I have a question for some patriots here. I have a flag that I used to fly off the side of my home, but it is now faded and torn, and I am keeping it in my garage. How does one properly dispose of it?

Check with a local Boy Scout troop in your area. They have ceremonies to properly dispose of worn flags. They will take care of it for you.

McCain-Palin needs to stand up for Old Glory. Those stupid Democrats proved the view flag just like we view those Greek collumns at Investco Field - As a stage prop. Liberals use the American flag as a prop. Sorta like the big foam finger worn at sporting events. It’s just a colorful piece of cloth to wave in the air while cheering for your candidate. Nothing more.
