Even with democrats in control of both houses of congress and the white house the whiners have no one to blame but themselves if democrats run rampant. After all they’ll still be consituents of the president but it’s pretty hard to fight while curled up in the fetal position sniveling and crying.

People need to man up and act like real Americans no matter who gets elected. (and that goes for women too)

"McCain’s campaign earlier tanked on this issue. It did because of those that were aware of his stance.  Many don’t know where he stands and they are going to find out soon."

I think I know where McCain stands.  From his speech at the convention:

"We believe everyone has something to contribute and deserves the opportunity to reach their God-given potential from the boy whose descendents arrived on the Mayflower to the Latina daughter of migrant workers. We’re all God’s children and we’re all Americans."

The daughters of migrant workers are Americans??

The way I take it, underneath the sugar coating and aside from the intoxicating distraction of adding Sarah to the ticket, he slipped in his intentions to continue his efforts toward shamnesty for illegals.

I'm not happy about that and illegal immigration is still a hot issue in my book.  Or did we all forget about it?

This issue is settled. Unlike you, the American people simply do not view immigration as an all important issue. They have chosen two candidates who support comprehensive immigration reform, and they will get said reform after the election.

You one-issue zealots mistakenly thought that just because you obsess over immigration that the rest of the country does, too. The presidential election has proven just how wrong you really were.

And cowards like you aren’t man enough to actually defend your country against an invasion. Hell you aren’t even man enough to acknowledge the deaths caused by illegal aliens.

McCain needs to get in line with the GOP platform if he expects their votes

The President has no obligation to follow the wishes of his party’s platform.

“If people want to vote for the GOP candidate that doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is the willingness to overlook the obvious flaws in our presidential candidate to do so. “

What bothers me is that there are way too many people that claim to be Conservative but are actual one issue - pro-life. I am pro-life but that is not enough for me. I want them out of my wallet. Off my land. and out of my life.

Unlike you, the American people simply do not view immigration as an all important issue.

Having to work all day so I can pay my taxes for lobbyist shills like you, I don't have a lot paid time to get to play on the net.

I can't believe these people on FR don't refute your falsehoods. Absolutely and overwhelmingly AMERICANS ARE AGAINST ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION!!! Poll after poll says 70-80% are against what YOU stand for. It doesn't matter what YOU want, it matters what the American people want.

You are also the "man" who said the right wing conservatives are the part of the party you want to get rid of. You said our votes are irrelevant and "we don't need you".

So, why did your buddy McCain pick a right wing conservative as a running mate?

All I want from you is an admission that we, here in the Heartland of America, you need us. That's all I ask, admit it... You need us.

The American people have spoken, it's no longer about Robert David and what he wants.

The President has no obligation to follow the wishes of his party’s platform.

The presidential candidate then shows he doesn't want my vote.

There is no invasion. There is simply a vast wave of illegal migration caused by the unwillingness of too many Americans to accept legal foreign workers. Pass comprehensive immigration reform and increase legal immigration to 4 million a year, and illegal immigration will no longer be a problem.

I never denied that illegal immigrants commit some crime, but so do legal immigrants and American citizens. All criminals should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law regardless of legal status.

There is no doubt in my mind the John McCain will win the election.

I also expect President McCain to reintroduce an Amnesty Package within his first 18 months in office.

I have to call you on that one, where are you getting this info that they are legal workers? No one has a problem with legal workers. You are not truthful which negates anything you've said. Untruthful people are never appreciated.

We will have to fight McCain on this issue if he wins. He has given his word to build the fence before he does anything else. We’ll hold him to that and then fight him on amnesty and line cutting.

“The slavish hero worship of Palin is obnoxious. But the fact that its occuring before she has specified her position on many issues including illegal immigration is unforgiveable.”

Other than illegal immigration, what issues are you unclear about her stance on?

John McCain has stuck to his beliefs through all of the massive criticism launched at him, and for that I admire the man. He knows what is the right way forward for America and he did not change his beliefs just because it was convenient.
