How do the Democrats come up with the statement that McCain votes 90% of the time with President Bush? President Bush does not vote so what do the Democrats base this figure on?

Believe it or not, BOR confronted Obami last night about this and BOR ripped Obami to shreds on it. He named 10 major issues that McCain and Bush differ upon. Check out the transcript. Obami was shot down.
Someone check how many of these votes are run-of-the-mill votes of congratulations in the Senate. I bet Obama has voted with Bush a good percentage too.

Congressional Quarterly develops estimates based on stated positions. Obviously the pres doesn’t vote so it made Obama sound stupid even though there is a (semi) objective way to answer this.
I'd like to see us point that out more. Dingy Harry's approval numbers are lower than Bush's.
