Thank God!! I was worried since we have WAY too many liberals running around the state these days!

Only 11? Bush beat Kerry by more than 20% in Montana. Sounds like Montana is shifting towards the Dems.

Any hope for New York? Also what say the polls, in his home state of Illinois? That would a big rub in the face of the empty suit if McCain wins there, ouch!!!!!/Just Asking - seoul62......

I never thought Barry could win. All media hype. Everything points to Barry going down hard.

Not really. Here’s why:

“The reason is that Senator Obama has been here five times since this spring and summer, the last time nine days ago, and has opened up 16 campaign offices statewide.”

Also, Obama has spent over a million on ads. McCain hasn’t been in the state once.

McCain/Palin are coming to Virginia (Northern Virginia) tomorrow. The venue was a local high school but response was so strong, they had to move it outdoor to the football field to accommodate all who say they’re going.

I guess it wasn't necessary :)

Good to hear that folks in Montana won’t give up their God or their guns.

We’re back. Obama has made considerable investments of time, money, staff, and advertisements in MT. But we are in the driver’s seat now.

Barry claimed that he had more experience than Palin because he was running his campaign.

So, based on the way his candidacy is floundering in a sea of failure, we are starting to get the perfect answer as to why he should not be the President of the United States.

He is proving that he is an inept and incompetent leader, even the former Enron management team thinks he’s horrible.

If it is a real red state, that shouldn’t make that much difference. Bush beat Gore by 25% in 2000. Montana now has two Dem senators and the Dems control the state senate [26 Dems/24 Reps] and are just one vote shy of controlling the House [50 Reps/49 Dems/1(I)]. Something is happening there.

This is just the start of the 2nd quarter of this game.

We have the momentum, but, this opponent must be CRUSHED, and that will take a highly concerted effort all the way to final buzzer.

Never Let Up!!!

That’s right. He was in my hometown, Butte, for the 4th of July. Muhchelle and kids as well. However, the blue part of MT exists mostly west of the Continental Divide; there are a lot of wheat farmers and cattle farmers in the eastern part of the state who have been traditionally conservative.

I’m thrilled to see the lead McCain has taken in the state. Go John and Sarah! McCain/Palin in 2008!

As late as yesterday, the idiots at MSNBC had their little electoral map showing Bama winning Montana.

I _never_ believed Montana would go blue..and I don't believe Colorado will either!

We won’t win NY or IL. Right now our best pick up shots are NH, PA, MI, WI, and MN. OR and WA are outside shots. I would also make a play for ME’s 2nd CD (1 EV). That’s where I’d be investing. For defense: CO, NV, NM, VA, FL, IA, OH, and MO.

It’s all the liberal wackos that have moved there from California.

And of course, the wackiest leftist of them all, Ted Turner owns a ton of land there.

I think it is shifting slowly, but I’m not on the ground so I can’t imagine why. The state is more libertarian than conservative from what I gather. There’s little excuse for the kind of erosion you point out.

Since when did liberals like big sky country? I suppose it’s slowly becoming the Vermont of the West. We need to get organized and fight back there (statewide not McCain).
