Here's what FactCheck reports:
As governor, Palin did not cut funding for special need. In fact, she tripled that funding in just 36 months.
As mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, Palin did not seek to ban any books from the library, nor did she fire the librarian for disobeying the order she didn't give. The purported lengthy list of published works Palin sought to ban is phony and includes books published after the alleged censorship attempt.
Palin has been a registered Republican since 1982 and was never a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, which seeks a vote on seceding from the United States.
Palin never endorsed nor supported Pat Buchanan politically. As the mayor greeting him on a Wasilla visit once, she briefly wore a Buchanan button as a hospitality "courtesy." But soon after, she became a state co-chair for the short-lived presidential campaign of Republican Steve Forbes.
FactCheck also reported: "Palin has not pushed for teaching creationism in Alaska's schools. She has said that students should be allowed to 'debate both sides' of the evolution question, but she also said creationism 'doesn't have to be part of the curriculum.'"

Yawn...Freepers were publishing “DEBUNKED” lists a week ago. I guess they must have slow internet connections...no way they just wanted to let the false info sink in or anything.
At least the “messy divorce” is now mentioning the tasering of the child....still waiting for the death threat against Palins father to make the regular news cycle talk of troopergate.
And yet CNN routinely has guests on who repeat these lies.
With the NE crap coming out about her son and oldest daughter, FactCheck might want to expand its truth telling. Unfortunately, when you put out the cash like the Enquirer did you can get bar toadies to say anything, true or even half truth or not.

So when FactCheck supports Obama they are EVIL!!!!! but when they support Palin they are good guys?
Another fact:
The reason Giuliani and Palin even mentioned Obama’s community work was because Obama first put down Palin’s mayor job, WITHOUT mentioning that she was now a governor. Then after the Giuliani/Palin comments, Obama said they put down his community work without mentioning HIS other service, when he did the SAME thing to Palin FIRST.
I heard it myself, but John McCain explained this some on Face the Nation last Sunday.
I call them neither good nor evil. What I call anyone who believes all the crap about Palin that the MSM is putting out ,and that the 14 percent of Alaskans that don't support her put out, is stupid. Factcheck was in the bag for Obama until they got hit with proof that their facts on some of Obama's BS were wrong. They have since quit being in the tank(on the surface) for Obama.
Why am I being pinged to this gibberish?
Perhaps to translate?
Did I ever say they were good? No, I thought not.
