However, they did show her video, so it didn’t matter.

I hated the “it takes some hubris” statement concering was she ready to be president.

Its a classic lawyer statement: If she says ‘yes’, she’s stuck on herself. If she says ‘no’ she’s too weak.

Will we see any of these same questions with Biden, I wonder?

I just remembered why I haven’t watched MSM in 18 yrs. It’s a wonder they still have an audience at all being this bias. Fox only from now on Mrs. Palin.

I just watched it. I thought she did great. Gibson's questions were tough, but I don't think he was out of line.

She didn't give a straight-up yes or no answer to Pakistan border incursions, but no politician does. They have to be more diplomatic than that.

The toughness of his questions toward Obama is a different subject.

Re: Gov Palin needs to learn how to obfuscate.

Don’t necessarily agree with that. A large part of the reason so many people like her is because she says what she means and means what she says. I would hate to see her turn into another DC player.

Re: Gibson was snotty and condescending,

On this I agree 100%.

I hope these hacks continue to reveal themselves in all their ugliness. The electorate takes this into consideration.

not that we pray that God is on our side, but that we should pray that we are on God's side.

Which, by the way, is what she really said, rather than the inaccurate paraphrase that he presented.

I suspect the video was inserted into the interview broadcast. It wasn't shown to her at the time of the question. Regardless, Gibson lied to her. The quote was not accurate.

I saw the 9 min version on YouTube and a print version from ABC. The print version had more - like her advocating economic sanctions vs Russia. Will the entire interview be shown, or just what was on YouTube?

I thought she was OK - not great. Hard to fault her answ re Georgia and NATO, as it is hard to imagine BHO has a different one. I didn’t know the Bush Doctrine either - altho from this cite it is apparently more than Charlie said.

Your thoughts?

I agree, it was a good and tough interview and that Governor Palin did very well..(Biden, look out)..but....(yeah, that word)..Gibson came off as an arrogant and condescending twit, from what I saw. I’ll be viewing the rest with my girlfriend.

Governor Palin did well and answered some good questions, questions that need to be answered by all candidates, not just her. I say that, though, from a guys perspective.

However, the way Charlie Gibson came off will PO a lot of women. I’ve looked at the PUMA message board and they are hot not only at the way Hillary was treated, but also Palin.

Gibson’s demeanor will not play well with a lot of women.

I would like to see her open tomorrow's interview by calling Gibson on his untruthfulness -

I think that the actual interview is over. Gov. Palin has no further control over what and how ABC chops and edits her comments. I thought she handled an entire list of gotcha questions very well.

Rush is right to allow interviews only when the entire interview is aired live.

Don’t forget about Lech Welesa. What kind of experience did he have before he lead Poland?

“..Sarah Palin came across as smart, courageous, sophisticated, competent, puissant, prepared, and savvy...”

I second that....

She really did do very well....

Gibson came across as “stuffy” and “snobby” - very “English”

She came across very forcefully - This is what average people like myself will remember from this.

I wonder if anyone noticed, if they watched the videos at the ABC News site, that the advertisements were from Citgo?

In the ads, they picthed that they could have oil here in 2 days via Venezuela.

HELLO?!?!??! VENEZUELA????? CHAVEZ???? Not to mention two Russian Bombers?

I believe the entire network is tanked for the Dems!

I’m not unhappy with Gibson. He gave her a tough interview, and she got through it great.

Yep Nothing wrong with tough interviews for those seeking political office ( in fact I want to see tough interviews ) as long as both sides get equal treatment

Fwiw... I haven’t watched it, but I read the transcript... From the lukewarm comments here, to what I read, she didn’t do so well. Does anyone else agree? Will this be the turning point for zero?

“I’m getting lost in a blizzard of words” referring to Palin. What an absolute jerk. Wonder if he ever said the same about Obama, or ever would, during an interview........................ Rhetorical, OK, but what comes to mind as an Obama word blizzard:”Ah, er, Ah, HMMMM, er. er.”
