Good points. As a conservative, I was waiting until he McCain named his VP before deciding to support him. That was two weeks ago today. As soon as he named Palin, a true conservative, I was on board. Within an hour--literally--I was at the McCain HQ here in St. Louis getting bumper stickers and getting tickets for the rally.

A lot of us conservatives were holding back to see what he would do.

He spoke to a "throng" of 200...count 'em...200 in Dover. A town of 25K+.

Where's the press coverage on that? How I'd love to see the expression on his face.

Maybe he should go back to Berlin - but even there, he had to provide a free concert to get the crowd

I am stuned at how this thing has turned around in just two weeks.

You're stuned, but what about your beeber? This switchover to McCain/Palin by Hillary voters is becoming and hugh and series.

Qualifier: I don't have a clue about what, if anything, that gobbledegook means. There were lots of posters using that stuff when I discovered FR seven or eight years ago, and I didn't want to appear to be a DUmmy by asking what they meant.

Well I just opened another tab and looked up the date I registered on FR and it was 7/13/98, much earlier than I remembered it being. So I suppose it's true, time really does fly when you're having fun. And if POed former Hildebeast junkies continue switching over to McCain/Palin it's gonna become even more fun to hang around this joint.

And a VP to remind him to dance with the girl who brought him to the dance.

If Johnny boy forgets to dance with that girl I would be more than happy to fill in for him anytime, except that I have two left feet and would probably cripple her for life.

I hadn't been the least bit enthused about a McCain/anybody ticket up until the convention, and I was fast becoming grudgingly resigned to suffer through eight intolerable years with the Anointed One as president. But somehow that all seemed to change around the first time I saw and heard Sarah speak. If you look up the words smart, tough, beautiful, or gracious in any dictionary you'll probably find her picture placed above each one.

Good news. NH could be the swing state if McCain looses a couple out west (CO, NV, NM).

Get conservatives elected to Congress.

BINGO! A president appoints federal judges and SCOTUS Justices, but the Senate has the last word on who does or doesn't actually gets the open seats.

If we don't get conservative Justices to replace the next one or two liberal "evolving Constitution" type Justices who retire or croak, and that will almost surely happen in the next four years and for certain within eight, there won't be an "original intent" majority on the SCOTUS for a long time to come.

What good would it do us to have a conservative Executive branch and Congressional majority at some point in the near future if an "evolving Constitution" SCOTUS renders null and void the conservative oriented laws and policies that the other two branches enact? That's somewhat akin to the situation during Reagan's terms except for the Democrat Congress that thwarted as much of his agenda as they could get away with, and this would be a much different nation now if both Congress and the SCOTUS of that era had had a conservative majority in place to first enact and then judicially approve Reagan's proposed agenda and policies that could have made a conservative's dream of a renewed America as envisioned by the founders become much closer to reality.

"...Democratic legislator from Newmarket, has endorsed John McCain for president. Representative Howard previously supported Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's candidacy..."

New Hampshire has at least 400 members in the NH House.

Thanks,,,,,,,I think,,, or should I be offended? I'm bi-polar so I can go either way on the matter.
(not really, I don't know what bi-polar means either but it sounds like a good excuse for my ignorance)
