Palin to Iraq: Did She or Didn’t She?
FOX News ^ | September 13, 2008 | Shushannah Walshe

"In response to a Boston Globe article today, the Palin camp has been forced to clarify exactly where Sarah Palin traveled in her July 2007 trip to the Middle East to visit Alaskan National Guard troops"

"Last summer, Governor Palin traveled to Kuwait where she visited Alaskan National Guard troops deployed to the war in Iraq at Camp Arifjen.

While she was there she traveled to the K Crossing on the Kuwait-Iraq border, and a quarter mile into Iraq. According to the General who traveled with her, while she was there she presided over a re-enlistment ceremony of an Alaskan National Guard soldier.

En route back to the United States, she traveled to the Ramstein Air Base in Germany. While in Germany, Governor Palin visited wounded soldiers at the Landstuhl military hospital."

"Tommy Vietor, Obama campaign spokesman responded strongly to the initial report that Palin did not cross the border into Iraq:

"They said she visited Iraq, but today we learned that she only stopped at the border. Americans are starting to wonder, is there anything the McCain campaign isn’t lying about?"

Folks, what we are witnessing is absolute pandemonium in the Obama campaign.
Their internals must be horrendous.
Obama faced his first crisis the past couple of weeks and he flunked with a capital F.
It’s like a Chinese fire drill over at the Obama HQ.

She went further into Iraq than Kerry went into Cambodia.

Did Palin bring back a lucky hat?

Sure, that’s obvious.

But I think the point is that the scumbag Obama campaign says that Palin lied when in fact she did not. The story is about lying, and it turns out that the scumbag Obama campaign is doing the lying. Naturally.

Sounds pretty binary to me. Is 1/4 of a mile into Iraq in Iraq? Yes/No.......

Is 10 feet into Iraq in Iraq? Yes/no?

Let’s put it this way. She got much closer to the TROOPS
than Hussein did!

What a bunch of parsing of words! It won’t work, LOSERS!

YES YES YES YES!!!!!

The passport issue after he was no longer a minor is very important as are the three, not two, trips to Kenya.

Indonesian Passport? They do not allow dual citizenship, I believe.

I have to admit I’m totally confused now. Did she or did she not cross the border and go into Iraq? This is crazy. Probably some staffer from Palin completely screwed up the story to the press.

Mccain has made an amazing VP pick.

It a strong pick from the standpoint of her values (which is most important to me)

But it was an awesome pick from the standpoint of winning the election.

That one single move has moved the entire focus of the election Obama, Blessed be his name, to Palin.

Its been so fun watching Obama, Blessed be his name, stumble all over himself and shift the spotlight the McCain Palin.

All this business about Palin only having a passport for a year and limited world travel is nonsense. Any reasonable person would know that a sitting governor may not be an expert on foreign policy and that having a passport or travel to the Champs Elysee as “foreign policy” experience, is ridiculous..

Presidents and Vice Presidents may not be experts either. That’s why they have vast resources available such as the State Department and highly qualified advisors. What matters is the character, judgment, temperment, and intelligence of candidates for high office. How many foriegn policy advisors does Obama have? I forgot. Is is 300 or 400?

Palin will do just fine as VP or Prez, if necessary.

She told the truth, but the Left and PravdABDNC will repeat it like the Library Books until she is a liar. Correct every time it is mentioned.

Maybe Obummer or his campaign spokesmen in the press can explain why his wife received a $200,000 raise the month he was sworne in as Senator??

Pray for W, Mccuda and Our Troops

There have been so many smears debunked that I'm beginning to think that the McCain campaign is purposely planting false rumors . . . .just to "play" the Obamaniacs.

If so, I say, keep it up!

For some weird reason I still think people would be more interested to learn what's in Barry's college records. But that's just me.

Not just you. I'd like to hear from some of Obama's childhood, high school, or even college friends. He doesn't seem to have any, or at least I haven't heard of any. We hear about folks with whom he went to Law school, but it's like he just appeared on the scene then.
