Up until recently, for 10 years I was part of the team that did the testing on the current missile defense system (the one based in Alaska by the way). You are 100% correct. Obama doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.
I'll bet if you sent a copy of this to Charlie Gibson at ABC it would be on the screen in less than five minutes!

That is correct.
A "Missile Shield" system consists of intercept missiles, surveillance and target tracking radars and a command and control system. As long as the system has radar coverage for the sector that would detect incoming Russian missiles at ranges that would allow an intercept then the system will defend against a Russian attack.
But this is only true if McCain becomes president. With Obama there would presumably be some technical limitation placed on the system that would protect the Russians from having to worry about any Polish defense if they decided to launch nuclear weapons at Poland. Is this stupidity or what? Obama is an idiot.

More importantly, Obama is demonstrating a willingness to abandon NATO commitments in the face of Russian intimidation. That’s why our enemies love him.
