Joe Biden, by far the lowest profile member in the club of four now seeking the White House, lashed out on CNN's American Morning today, at economic policies that he says are killing the American Middle Class.
Below are a couple quotes from the show (and let's face it, they're Biden quotes, so they're long).
When asked what he and Barack Obama would do to fix the current economic mess, he said:
"Create jobs, keep people in their homes and increase regulatory oversight of the very people John has refused to regulate. And by creating job, we'd spend $600 billion on going out -- $60 billion creating new infrastructure jobs, roads, highways, bridges, all the things we need.
Keep people in their houses by allowing them to renegotiate not only their interest on their loans, but their principle on their loans and bankruptcy. Make sure that we're in a position where we start to deal with the debt. Look, John talked -- I just heard John's interview, I find it absolutely fascinating.
This is the same guy who wants to continue to spend $10 billion a months on the war in Iraq, when the Iraqis have $80 billion stashed away from oil prices. It's the same fellow who's going to part of his administration view he shares, it's going to hand the next president a $400 billion debt deficit for that year. This is the same guy who watched and presided over, not presided over, but supported Bush, says the economy's strong. And we lost 604,000 jobs this year. Come on! And the truth of the matter is, is what you heard in the last interview. Every economist points out that we give out tax breaks to the middle class ..bla bla blah

Biden: The Middle Class is Dying - OK, Joe, let’s raise taxes.
I thought he meant that they are either getting rich (under capitalism) or getting poor (under Dem taxation policy). /sarc
Joe,
I’m not dead yet.
Yes, we are being bled to death in taxes, Count Joe Dracula
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Another uplifting interview with Biden, eh?
Change, change and change your condom. You have been screwing the “middle class” for 32 years. Lying piece of crap.
And Obama and Biden want the chance to finish the job.
Joe, Joe, Joe. You really need to start stealing your speeches from better sources.
Yeah, and "This War Is Lost."
Joe bonehead and the rest of his communist ilk are idiots.
It’s been the policies foisted upon the public by the demoncraps over the past 50 years that’s killing the middle class.
That'll help the current financial crisis. Make banks pay for part of the house you bought.
“...keep people in their homes...”
So if some shmuck lender risks capital to bump up his bonus and some shmuck borrower overpays for a crappy house, goes underwater and then walks away, then those who risked and gained nothing get to pay to make everybody whole. Is that it, Joe?
BIDEN : It’s like I told the Governor of New York....”look here man”
If the Middle Class is dying, its because they are being taxed to death to fund social spending programs and entitlements that turn them into wards of the state.
Communists do not want a middle class. Like the Russian kulaks, the middle class must be destroyed for Communism to enslave a society.
The Middle class is “dying”, thanks to YOU, joe...
You’ve done EVERYTHING YOU CAN for 3 Decades to OUTFORCE the jobs the middle class dpended on.
You’ve done EVERYTHING YOU CAN to destroy the family culture the middle class is based on.
You’ve done EVERYTHING YOU CAN to increase the tax burden on the middle class.
YOU are the reason the middle class is disappearing, moron!!
Yet NO ONE, not one person in the MSM will dare to say this.
