Even Michelle Obama Didn’t Know What a Community Organizer Was

Michelle admits that when she first met Barack, “he had told me that he was a community organizer and I didn’t quite know what community organizing was. I had never met anybody who was a community organizer.”

As the Obama campaign and their surrogates attack Sarah Palin and other Republicans for comments about community organizers, including questions such as “What is a community organizer?” it turns out that Michelle Obama had no idea what a community organizer was until she met Barack.

In the Meet Michelle video on Barack Obama’s website (http://www.barackobama.com/learn/meet_michelle.php), Michelle tells us at the 30 second mark that when she first met Barack, “he had told me that he was a community organizer and I didn’t quite know what community organizing was. I had never met anybody who was a community organizer.”

So although Obama and his surrogates cast dispersions on those that ask what a community organizer does, it turns out his own wife never knew.

What I would really like to know is how much money Barack was making, including any perks or benefits, in his community organizer job.

Somehow, Michelle doesn't strike me as a woman who would be willing to stick around for some guy making poverty wages. I suspect that, whatever the wages Obama received, there was something else financially beneficial that made the job worth his while.
