Memphis Lawmaker's Son Investigated for Palin Hacking
Mike Kernell confirms to Mike Fleming that his son has been contacted by authorities.
State Rep. Mike Kernell has confirmed to 600WREC's Mike Fleming that his 20-year-old son is the one being mentioned in earlier published reports that state he has been contacted by authorities investigating the hacking of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's e-mail account.
Fleming is host of The Mike Fleming Radio Program. He said Kernell told him, "That is my son that is being referenced in that story."
The Memphis Democrat's son, David, is a student at the University of Tennessee.
The FBI and Secret Service launched an official investigation Wednesday. Content from her e-mail, including family photos, have been posted on the internet.
The son of a Dem politician, eh? So he will receive automatic immunity.
I hope they make an example out of him. If he had found something incriminating, it would have been the end of the McCain/Palin campaign. This is big enough to punish severely.
