What, did they guess that O’Reilly’s password was “blooter”?
Again, I am hardly informed, let alone an expert, but aren't there traces left along the routes taken to hack and on the hacked site that indicate the hacker's whereabouts?
Seems to me that one is better off trying to make a deal for a lesser charge than to set oneself up for an obstruction/destroying evidence charge added on.
I believe there is a special program that enables them to get info from the computer even if the user erased it. I forget what it is called, but it is employed often for child porn cases, etc. The computer actually still has a memory of all sites visited even if the person has tried to delete the evidence. At least that was mentioned to me one time by a person who was involved in such an investigation.
Won’t happen. The perp is “just a kid,” not to mention a son of a Dem elected official, and the offended party is a Republican candidate, and that awful un-feminist (while most decidely feminine) Sarah Palin.
The edge of the rug will be lifted.
I suspect Dad and a whole bunch of other Obama operatives are guilty as sin. Does anybody know if the kid is even enrolled in college this semester? He probably is a full-time campaign worker for Obama. Remember dad would never tell reporters the location of his son. Maybe it was D.C. or Chicago.
