Has anyone started a thread about conservative 527 groups in battleground states? I'm looking at donating, but I'm unsure which groups (and which states) would be most efficient. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
I’d love some answers too....I’ve given some to an outfit called the “Madison Project” and of course to NRA_PVF.....
Being in the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia, I see little hope for my state, so helping swing states makes the most bang for the buck sense.
No expert here at all but what about the NRA in Ohio, Pennsylvania or Colorado?
You might try www.freedomswatch.org - it is the conservative version of moveon.org, only with class. N.B. my son works there.
Club for Growth is an excellent vehicle for contributing to the conservative cause
the NRA and Free Enterprise Fund would be others
is Vets for Freedom primarily GOP?......
Thank you for the links!
Fellow Californian, I read here:
http://holycoast.blogspot.com/2008/09/mccain-palin-opening-50-offices-in.html
that McCain opened FIFTY headquarters in California today.
Could it be? Could it be? Do we have a chance in CA?
Watching their ads, I believe they are.
“...Do we have a chance in CA?”
I saw that earlier today.
I will keep my ears open, but unless I see movement in the polls in the next few weeks, I think it’s a lost cause.
I think they are waiting to see what happens too, then pull out and head for Nevada, Colorado and New Mexico if it looks bad.
California is dominated by the bay area and L.A. as you know I am sure.
My county, San Diego, always goes republican, but alas, not enough people here to overcome.
In a way it’s a relief, I mean the state is dark blue, my county is red, hell my rep is Duncan Hunter! So not like I can do much in my neck of the woods to change the outcome. So I can think about how to help somewhere else.
Would be nice to at least give the Obamination a run for his money here, make him spend time and money protecting a “safe” state.
We shall see.
